September 2008 my oldest son was laid to rest, military funeral, flag folding, 21 gun salute, the works...Painful to listen to this song and not think about that. I pray for all the families who have loved ones in the military...When I think about those who serve in the military, I think about the sacrifice they are making for people they don't know, will probably never know yet they protect us. I love this song. It shows the lives we lose every day. These brave men and women signed a blank check that could include their life when they joined the military. My son is attending West Point Military Academy. He has given his country the greatest gift: Him! God bless all are military ---- and the fallen angels watching over them.

I happen to like this video. It shows the truth of what we suffer when we lose a loved one. I have served in Gulf War, Somalia, Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan. I am fortunate to retire this year. I have been on many funeral details folding the american flag to present to a Soldier's loved one. I have sacraficed a lot for my country and yet still get no respect. I have served under four presidents and i dont blame any of them. I hope everyone realizes that "Every Life is Precious"

Yet the feeling of being related to them runs deep. I have been retired less than a year and every-time I see this video it hits home again and brings back memories. my father fought in the northern ireland and is suffering from bad PTSD thanks to fighting for our country for people like us to live freely. They don;t go there knowing they will die they go there knowing there is a chance they may lose their life but are willing to do it fighting for our country. my father lives everyday with the sad memories of seeing his friends blown to pieces knowing he has to live with those memories and nightmares

I love this song. It shows the lives we lose every day. These brave men and women signed a blank check that could include their life when they joined the military. My son is attending West Point Military Academy. He has given his country the greatest gift: Him! God bless all are military ---- and the fallen angels watching over them.

I too hear people say bad things about our military, yet they're not willing to put the uniform on or go over there themselves & understand what we've gone through. I happen to like this video. It shows the truth of what we suffer when we lose a loved one. I have served in Gulf War, Somalia, Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan. I am fortunate to retire this year. I have been on many funeral details folding the american flag to present to a Soldier's loved one. I have sacraficed a lot for my country and yet still get no respect. I have served under four presidents and i dont blame any of them. I hope everyone realizes that "Every Life is Precious"

Just to add to my comment. Let me tell you how hard it was to stand at a funeral, fold the American Flag and not shed a tear. Many times i shed tears for Soldiers i did not even know. Yet the feeling of being related to them runs deep. I have been retired less than a year and every-time I see this video it hits home again and brings back memories. One of These Mornings, they will look for me and i will be gone too. What this World needs is PEACE, LOVE and HAPPINESS.

It is unfortunate. However, the death of a few will save the lives of countless millions. Our defiant stand lets everyone know not to attack the United States. Yes, I know that will not help the parents,children and spouse of the our fellow military personnel that are killed. But, our country was founded on freedom and civil liberties and we must continue to fight for it. I sympathize with the families that have lost a father,son or brother and wish you well. my father fought in the northern ireland and is suffering from bad PTSD thanks to fighting for our country for people like us to live freely. They don;t go there knowing they will die they go there knowing there is a chance they may lose their life but are willing to do it fighting for our country. my father lives everyday with the sad memories of seeing his friends blown to pieces knowing he has to live with those memories and nightmares

war is everywhere even in nature , the difference is that nature doesn't have nuclear or quemical bombs or guns. War will always exist because people have always different points of view. i think that those who are seeking for a complete happiness, are also seeking for an illusion.
