Es ist wenig bekannt , zu diesem Tempel. Präsident Lee, in München für den Regional-Generalkonferenz im August 1973 hatte eine Versammlung der Münchener-Missionare im Gemeinde Zwei Gebäude in Hoffbrunstrasse aufgerufen. Während des Treffens prophezeite er die Kirche würde "in kurzer Zeit" einen Tempel in damaligen DDR  bauen, und kurz danach würde die Mauer fallen und die deutsche Lände wiedervereinigen. Ich war dort. Ich habe es persönlich gehört.

There is a little known fact about this Temple. President Lee, while in Munich for the Regional General Conference in August 1973, called a meeting of the Munich missionaries at the Gemeinde Zwei building in Hoffbrunstrasse. During the meeting he prophesied the Church would "within a short time" build a temple in then East Germany, and that shortly thereafter, the wall would fall and the Germanies would reunite.

I was there. I heard it in person.

Das ist krank. Solche Gotteshäuser verschlingen hunderttausende von Euros und in afrika verrecken die Kinder weil sie nix zu fressen haben. Mich störts ja nicht wenn jemand an Gott glaubt, aber sowas versteh ich echt net.

Do you live in a house? Drive a car? I would expect not, that with your attitude you would have sold all of these things and given your money to the poor in Africa.

Just as you value your house and think that it's important for your family, so we value our places of worship and think it's important for the membership of the Church.

So gross ist der Freiberg Tempel nicht. Auch dazu, was machen sie um sicher zu machen dass die Kinder in Afrika essen bekommen? So viele sagen dass die Kirche schlecht ist und dass dieses Geld woanders gehen kann. Aber wir machen schon vieles. Es ist ein Ort derFrieden und ruhe. Es ist eine wichitge Ort. Und tut mir leid wenn mein deutsch nicht perfekt ist, ich bin Amerikaner.
