  • If I was there employer I fire them. Before something happens. Would it not hurt to just rent a boom lift. Wow

  • Title needs to be corrected to:

"Air conditioning installation tutorial for the Frugal, Daring and Smart."

  • actually...i give those guys mad props...we wouldnt do it in america like that..we'd crane it..but well done sirs..well done...

  • These guys did it just fine. my respect to them

  • I don't agree with you, they will get more fresh and cool air.

  • it's not a window AC... it's a mini split pump system which requires professional install...

  • Listen to the people who do this stuff all the time... and Im no expert.

  • yeah ok im going to hang out a window four storys up you must work for osha idiot

  • Hose A and Hose B...... H.....B... eh C at yo ser-Bi-cen-cia.

(Translation: jose and hose b.......HVAC at your service)...lol

This is how Gov. Walker approves work in WI. at $3.35/ hour or less

  • crooked.

  • This is what is avail, if you want to save 2grand on a sensible company. I love the rope thru the pipework hole to support the OD unit.

  • who pidio a crane

  • umm.... whats a Vac Pump ?

  • missing are the pictures of someone or something getting smashed as a result >: )

  • Atleast they used a ruler (or something)

  • @intheshitter Eyeball it......lol

  • he surived dint he? ..... and now he has air con without payfor it to bee instaled

  • @njipods wtf?? it's called english... jerk-off now speak it (in this case, type it)

  • The thing about non-straight pipe work is that only the neighbours get to see the bad external work.

    cheers.

    from,

    del-boy.

  • Buy portable air con

  • jajaja.. bullshit! come to Mexico! that kind of stuff happens here everyday!!!

  • lol, the piping isnt straight? lol, your probably never going to see it... its not like a dent in your car...

its not the BEST job, but w.e it works

  • I have heard some prices from 'professional' installers. How about $270 to add 2lb r22, $750 for blower motor, $3000 for a 3 ton 13 seer condenser, $1,150 for evaporator changeout, the best of all: drum roll please, $347 for a condensing fan CAPACITOR. Folks, I will tell you that many, not all, big name companies steal money from good people. Some customers deserve it but it doesn't make it right.

  • @kengine7 You can say that two times. I'm just glad I can do most work myself to avoid constant assrape from those guys.

  • good job lads want a job?

  • Pipe work - what about the electrical work exposed !!!

  • nice job... save $300 for a cherry picker, and $1000 for a scaffold :D.... i like this better save money

  • thats how a real man install their ac!

  • that's how fools die

  • The way that person was installing the air conditioner was so extremely dangerous to the point of being suisidal, you've got a real death wish if you're installing a system in that way. I see the message behind this video?

  • the differece to installing your own system or using aproper qualified person is about ten years of efficent operation

  • Well...its either do that or be hot. Guess these guys wont be hot.

  • In the USA we still don't use these type of split units much. They cost a fortune compared to the window units - those are the box ones that install in an open window. You can get a really good one for around $200 or less in the USA.

  • whats wrong with that?

  • Cherry picker, scaffold, abseil, window cleaners cradle.

  • Why are they installing it so high? How is it going to get serviced? must be an apartment. (What Building permit?)

  • take a fucking chance you pussys! these guys are HARDCORE

  • @clark144 is not hardcore is dumb plus with the laws and tickets that are out there that osha gives it can mean bankruptcy for many companies, failure to train employees, no hard hat, no harnest, no gloves, no safety, plan it goes on and on and on. not to mention who the fuck it going to service that with out charging up the ass. That is a high efficientcy ductless unit if they can afford that they can afford a proper installation what do u think man

  • @jmiguel3889 Gov. Walker of WI approves of this....He prefers to pay $3.35/hr. or less for this kind of "craftsmanship" lol

  • @clark144 You'll look pretty hardcore on a slab of cold granite with a tag on your left big toe and your brains splattered on the sidewalk down below. In real life, this is called "Stupid".

    Definitely Darwin Awards territory.

  • @deltaf22 If you knew anthing about george carlin, you would understand that was a editing quote by him, one year ago I posted this and people are still replying to it

    sad acts

  • uk..nuff said

  • there sitting on glass with a leg out

    crazy fucks

  • Yeah but leaning out the window like that?Even with a safety rope on his leg which is still a deah wish.

How the hell did he do up the bolts properly?

  • WOW they just saved $450 on a crane and pocketed that money...Everybody knows now a days lowest bid gets the job.. Sad but true

  • Do these crazy installers have a death wish?

  • Now I seriouly have to ask what kind of dumbass risks in life in an apartment on that floor to intall an air conditioner the guys obivously too lazy to call someone to have it intalled SAFELY

  • Dejense de Joder...hijos de Mil....esto es una Publicidad....-? Por dios....-Hay cada uno-.-que Instalacion de Mierda.

  • AHAHAHHAAH LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hello Friends.

I want to know how I can uninstall a mini split system? If you can write in spanish, better. Thank you.

  • NOW thats a pro at work LOL i bet it was a cheap install if it was more expensive guys would have a ladder or those sizzor type thing vehicle to lift them up there

  • Actually yes, many "anybodys" can. An installation like this is experienced-handyman level, and many company installers are not even that good. (Installers are not refrigeration techs, they're installers.)

If you can do the electrics OK, about the only problem area is not getting the 4 tubing connections aligned straight. If you cross-thread the tubing connectors, then you have a mess to deal with.

I wonder why they didn't put the unit beneath the window, instead of beside it.

  • Whoever has to service that A/C is going to be really screwed.

  • @djrpr123

Yea, How u Supposed to Service That Thing?

  • This is just propaganda. Anyone can install A/C these days...

  • As you are incorrect I would assume your area of expertise is not air conditioning.

  • You assume correctly sir.

  • @acsolutionsgroup dude its not hard. i installed both of mine.

  • I have never seen a single professional home-use/window AC installer in my life. It takes 20 minutes to put one in.

  • Everyone can IF they have the knowledge and the right tools.

Otherwise the machine will break down in a year or two and work poorly in the mean time.

  • True. Good thing the DIY pre-vacced machine are slowly taking over residential installs and slowly coming into more commercial ones.

The standard of them has also improved in recent times and some nice inverter models are out.

  • Still need to vacc the connections, even if it not a big task or especially hard people do fail at that too.

Yes they have improved a great deal and they are more reliable and low energy consuming.

I wil be buying one and installing it at the end of the month.

    See if I fail.:-)

  • @iPidd as an airconditioning engineer, would you know how to bring a system into a vacuum? what tools to use, what gauge to use, what pressure it should be? how to work out what the critical charge is? how to charge it? what to charge it with? working out pipe drop? compressor capacity? measure the superheat? check the running current? im sure youll have a quick look on google but im telling you its NOT just a job anyone should do. as a bad install can effect unit performance and function. 64

  • @iPidd I installed my AC and I never installed AC before.

It works like a breeze. I would avoid these people, just going by this horrid advertisement.

  • i wouldnt do that id drop the damn thing lol

  • dunno looks like the two of them tackled that job with a set of balls to match.

  • complimenti pero la prossima volta cerca di metterlo sotto la finestra

    comunque braviiiii

  • giusto!!!...

  • i was kinda scared at 0:33!!!

  • How not to install air conditioning? that is exactly how you install an a/c, but next time use a ladder

  • We obviously have higher install standards in the UK. A 15m (45ft) ladder isn't safe either.

  • exactly?? theres no pride in the standard of that work...

  • ductless mini split systems are made to be installed like that. still shot that final image follow the brickwork the outdoor coil is actually mounted straight. also the final image the linset is perfectly straight. i have seen hundreds of these systems mounted just like that. great installation...hanging out the window to install it isnt uncommon.

  • WTF?They hanging out the window LOL

  • HI CHRIS!!!!!!!11111

  • Yeah coz I heard they don't have youtube in australia

  • It is alright for those neighours of yours -they don't have to look at its crookedness forever, like you will !

    D

  • It's called A window Unit for a reason... He is luck he didn't kill himself.

  • that's not a window unit

  • its not a window unit at all. its a mini split system. exactly the same as a big system just the tonnage is a lot smaller. these systems are made to be mounted to the side of buildings exactly like that

  • *jumps out of window* how could you be forced to do that? I would reject that in an instant!

  • Yes it is me... Chris Mackie!!

Give my comment a positive rating if you love me!!

It really is me... Chris Mackie!!

  • look wife I did it myself

  • bet he did that while his wife wasnt home

  • Shoulda just put in a window unit

  • Customers get what they pay for

  • legend!

  • Yikes lol...it looks like my husband has a long-lost twin brother :-) He's currently in the hospital from having pulled an "Al Bundy" with our DirectTV dish.

  • onde é que já vi isto

  • thats who i used to work when i was a roofer . no needd for a cat ladder , just hang off the TV ariel for saftey :)

  • Hi, AC Solutions Group,

    This video is brilliant!

After working in the industry for over 25 years it's refreshing to see an AC company highlighting the cowboys out there and actually caring about their own installations.

I've visited your website and i'm very impressed, a credit to the industry!

    Keep up the good work!

  • This video is funny, i cant believe what some fellows actually get up too. Having been an ac engineer my self for nearly 40 years i think this is a disgrace. ACSolutions group i hope you do better work then this.

  • Quite Amazing!
