Beatlab511, I don't remember how many spins it took me to get all four cats wild, I was down to my last $100, I had losted a lot before my luck changed. One half hour later I hit for another $1500 on Quick Hit, I took a break from playing to take my winnings up to my room and came back down and plalyed Quick Hit again. Not the same machine I had just hit on, but the machine right next to it and won another $900. I had a good time that weekend, I did play about $500 back, but I left a big winner.
You obviously weren't playing at one of the indian owned casino's in michigan, LOL. I was betting max on a quick hit a few weeks back, got a 25 spin bonus at 3x the pay and it retriggered once giving me 50 spins at 3x the pay with max bet. My total winnings? $108. LOL. Congrats on your win!
LHZZ12MM, No I don't think it's fair and I actually had two handpay hits that night. I also hit on the penny slot game " Quick Hit" for another $1500. I got 8 Quick Hits, my bet was for $1.50, so I will be paying plenty in taxes for that night of gambling. It's just wishful thinking that Congress would even consider changing it's gambling tax winning laws to benefit the gambler.
$1672.00x.67%=1120.24 roughly, after taxes. The max you can win without paying taxes is $1199.99. So in reality you won less, than if you would have won $1199.99 tax free. Do you think that's fair? Or should Congress change the tax law regarding gambling winnings?
@LHZZ12MM The $1199 limit before a W-2G has to be issued has been in effect for over 40 years, so it should be increased to at least $5000 in my opinion. You can deduct gambling losses to the extent of your winnings if you itemize deductions. You would list it under "miscellaneous deductions" on line 28 of Schedule A.
damn you just keep winnning dont you

I won $1330.00 on a machine similar to this one. Here in Canada we don't pay taxes on lottery/casino winnings.
