i will buy those tyres and i will olvays drive on flats if it handles so good like she sad, i mean she was impresed, meybe my tyres dont need air at all, is there something like that for bike? xd
so does this mean when i am running away from cops and they use spike strips i can still get away and not worry about the tires going flat thanks . there's a bank i need to good see
why all or almost all women ride so close to steering wheel? it's not safe, not comfortable and gives no possibility to react quickly.. I wonder what happens if airbag deploy? will such kind of driver survive?
On one hand, as assumed by you already, it will reduce the risk of loosing the control in case of a sudden loss of tire pressure(Active safety). But if you have ever had a flat tire @night, on the highway, rear left(on right hand driven roads), I'm sure you will value the benefits of a run flat tire. You will see a warning light on the instrument cluster, and with reduced speed(80 km/h) you can drive at least 150 km to your next workshop. Convinced?
@Bl8Runnr I have to admit that if this tire offers what its claimed to offer (minimize the consequences of getting a flat tire-at HIGH SPEED-on driving), you are right, and it is worth it...if, on the other hand, it only helps you get a few more miles without changing a tire, its surely not worth it...peace
take it from someone who has driven sports cars all my life and if you've ever run over a bag of bolts that has fallen off a truck on the highway and has been sitting there all night waiting for you to come along and run it over at 80 mph or a blowout at 70 you WILL VEER OFF THE ROAD MY FRIEND LOL and this SHIT DOES HAPPEN and the reason why you are watching this video is most likely because you are thinking of putting them on your car so if it saves you from gettin stuck it worth it
Well, my friend, notice how I said MOST don't veer off the road. Obviously there are more extreme circumstances where, as you so aptly put it, shit does happen.
You do know because if you buy a car which was fitted with run flats at factory then they have have a sensor in them which then sends signals to the cars control centre then to the drivers dashboard screen. Its pretty good.
she can drive easily 15 miles, which is how long she has to drive
untill she finds a male willing to change her tyre for a chance to sleep with her. The package should include both the tyre and a flexible all-size mini skirt.
"great steering"...on a mini???Okay,i am from BMW Germany,so this comparation is not that meaningful, but, sorry Tommies, but in our Garage is a shield with..."Der liebe Gott schütze uns vor Sturm und Wind und Autos die aus England sind"*smile*("Lovely God beware us from storm & wind and cars made in England)But you play better soccer(unfortunately)
i hate run flats... They do cost a lot of money. Ive been driving with a flat tire for the last week or so.. They suck i'm all ready on my 3 tire and ive only had this car for 1 year and a half. 2006 330xi
hmm she says soon in the future that there will be run flat tires standard. well i hope NOT. i have run flat tires myself, and they are very handy if you do get a puncture, BUT, they are very costly. one tire for me is 1 grand. 1 GRAND and they only last like 30,000 miles tops, but i have michelin pax so im not sure if its just them. (i have special rims so i cant change to a different tire). It is pricey, and i wouldnt recommend if you dont mind changing to a spare when you get a flat.
yea, but she didnt say that, even if you get a slow puncture they cant be repaired, and they cost about eu160 to replace one, and they are over sencitive to road surfaces !!I've got them..never again
I can't beleive that a sceptic (...tank - yank) is trying to correct the English spelling of English. Coming from a country that dumbs-down our language all the time (e.g. dropping the "u" from "colour", saying "real bad" instead of "really bad" [adjective vs adverb] and calling it an "airplane" instead of an "aeroplane"). I suggest you get educated first.
30mph lose control?? I just had a flat tyre doing 120km/h in a -98 Mondeo, and I was wondering what that weird noise is. Heavy vibration started a bit later, and I thought that there is something wrong with the suspension... I got off the highway as soon as I could, and when I saw the smoking & destroyed front tyre... I too always thought that losing a tyre would be dangerous, but there was just noise and vibration. Just changed in the spare and the car was ok. I guess Ford isn´t bad after all.

You have no clue about tires, nor cars.
RFT/RSC tires are a plus of safety, doesn't matter if the driver is male or female.
Yes, RFT is more expensive, but your live should be worth it, shouldn't it?

"The door for it's safety features?" No I wouldn't really guess that.
And NO, most cars don't veer off the road and lose control when you get a puncture. She even proved that herself by driving on a flat tire.
And she doesn't give any of the downsides to run flats, such as price, ride comfort and noise levels... very poor reporting.

This is a product for female drivers. You could have guessed that by the fact that its tested on a mini cooper, by a female.
I suppose that the concept is that if a female (therefore someone who doesnt know how to change a tire) gets a flat tire,
