Sims 1 + 3 were the best IMO, 2 not as good. For music though, Sims 1 wins hands down, particular this song Latin 4, plus Latin 2. Music got too cheesy in Sims 2 + 3 IMO.

The Sims 1 what a great game! Not only a groundbreaking game, but with nice graphics for the time and an amazing soundtrack.

Well, it surely deserves the record for being the most sold pc game of all time.
