  • No top comment. Its my time to shine.

    TTTUUURRRTTTLLlEEESSS

  • apology would like to know what kind of thread, or rope you use?

  • @BORREGOKEV Paracord is the usual

  • Im sorry by my stupid question but i could not understand the measure of the cords. I use metrical system. What dou tou mean with 6:16? Is it 6 foot and 16 inch? Thanks and nice work.

  • @andrefazanaro - the number is a link to the part of the video when I mention what cord length I used. two 6 foot (or 1.8288 meters) of cord each.

  • Comment removed

  • @TyingItAllTogether You said two 4 foot lengths in your video.

  • i can get the simular thing with 1 piece of paracord, it looks exactly the same at the end, and it has a trick up it's sleeve, if you pull both ends, you will totally pull it apart

  • How much cord did u use?

  • Oops on my last comment I put colleen but ment cool stupid auto correct haha so yea check out the bracelets at moose jaw

  • Hey u guys there are some really cool bracelets at moose jaw (moose jaw is a store) that's were I got mine and it's really cool what they do is they take rope measure it to ur size and they burn it together it doesn't hurt and u can't take it off unless u cut it and u can pick ur colors and they are NOT thick like this there nice and small and REALLY COLLEEN so yea go check em out!

  • @rayallenrocks28 Hmm, if they don't have a fastening end, that's rather poor work. I don't want to buy a bracelet and have to cut it off. Waste of money. Cords and robes get rather funky if they're not taken off often. Your skin's oil and sebum will build up.

  • @hansini130296 you can use craftlaces

  • I lovvve ittt!!!!! But, can you tell me few other possible materials that I can use instead of paracords?? plzz?

  • whats the best way to measure out the length of the paracord used for this one, to make the regular soloman bar i use like 10-12x the length of the wrist.

should i also use about 10-12x the paracord for this?

  • I tried it with plastic lanyard and it turned out great!!

  • awesom cool keep it up mannnnnnnnnnnnnnn briliantttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

  • This is also know as a butterfly stitsch

  • @MissCraftyhands - okay...

  • lOvE your VideOs

  • I tried to do this with plastic lanyard but it didnt work out.............D:

    Thanks anyways though, nice job.

  • singe?>

  • NIce job, I love the fancy knots, but I personally am into building Pioneering Projects.. Check out my double span monkey bridge or my 35' hour glass tower... I love your work, and will try and work some of your stuff into my creations in the future.

  • with the 2 x 4 feet pieces, how many inches does it get you?

  • I attempted to do this

  • can u use shoe laces

  • you can but it wont be as long

  • AKA - Monkey Chain.

  • Are those shoe laces you used?

  • your knots are great...but where can i get your soundtrack music?

  • you get paracord at army navy surplus and its 7 sence a inch there are like 30 colors or you can order it online google it dose that help

  • Thank you so much for this video. I made this bracelet and it is very cool design, never seen it before :) By the way, awesome video on how to make it...Thanks again!

  • where do you get the string for all of your vidoes

  • where can u buy paracord and also i like how every video is good informed also that im dieing to buy your book

  • Awsome vid. Reminds me of those "....for dummies" books. One problem the music makes go crazy i freakin hate it luckily you dont talk so i can jus shut off the volume !(: other than that good videos! And to every1 who asked "can i use gimp and isnt it also called a butterfly stitch" the answer is yes to both questions

  • @MegaBabygirl1990

If you note the grammar in some of the responses I think you will understand why it has to be slow.

  • @Malibogo Haahahahahah

  • loved it.. but the video is kinda slow .

  • I like how in every video everybody asks the same thing.....where can i get paracord?.....can you use regular string?.....How much paracord did you use?

    1) Google it! and any military store carries it.

    2) No shit its a knot.

    3) Watch the damn video.

  • could we use gimp?

  • online at armysurplusworld online order it thats how i got mine

  • Pretty funny actually. I was just messing around with some spare cord I had and I ended up making these knots but with only one string. I think for how I was doing it, it'd be more suited as a keychain fob or something. So now thanks to this I'm covered on both fob's and bracelets ^.^ cheers!

  • you r so cool and awsome keep tiying plz..

  • JD I have a question. Do YOU create all these knots? Do you carry cord around with you so if an idea strikes you can attempt it, kinda like how an artist would carry a pencil and sketch pad

  • @mountainboarder101

    ...

Not all, but most of the knots I show are knots I've created. And yes I carry a lump of rope and cord everywhere I go. (smile)

    ...

    JD ~ TIAT

  • @TyingItAllTogether That's really interesting. I've never heard of a knot artist, but I think it's different and unique. Can't wait to see some new knots!!

  • @TyingItAllTogether

There are few new things under the sun -- I think you might agree to some extent that most, if not all, of your knots are a variations of some knot that appears in Ashley's Book Of Knots (ABOK).

I enjoy looking at your work, thank you,

  • I don't understand what 2X4 means. is it 2 feet for every 4 inches?

  • @fLaMeSxXxLuVeR

    ...

The video shows 2 different color cords. Each cord is 4 feet long.

    JD ~ TIAT

  • by the way did u know a lanyard/diamond knot is more effective and decorative than a simple overhand knot

  • @TheTobyKing

I have a feeling he knows...

On the other hand, lanyard/diamond knot is slightly bigger.

Some may prefer small knot in bracelet?

  • it sucks ssoooooo bad that i dont have enough paracord to make all of ur nots this channel is awesome!!

  • can use other kind of cord?

  • @DORIBAR1 I used plain brown hairy kind of rope and made a cool hippie bracelet thanks to this video.

  • all of these knots are cool, but you really need to tell the length of the cord, cause that is kinda important

  • @HClark2013

    ...

I posted the length of cord used at the end of the video (6:17)

    2 x 4 feet of (45) Nylon Paracord

  • @ALL7CAPS

  • @TyingItAllTogether would this work (S'getti Spool) its a hobby lobby

  • wat do u make them out of????

  • these are excellent. I'm just really bad at tying these

  • Thanks for all your great videos. My 10 yo son is very interested in tying knots, as am I. We just watched this video and made a bracelet for him. Much thanks. These videos offer a great way to spend quality time with the kid on way too hot afternoon.

  • I find about 8 ft. Of paracord is about average. That gives you a little extra to work with.

  • song is called " neon heights"

  • How much paracord do you need for the average length bracelet?

  • the sinnet looks more consistent if you start with an square knot, the loop you create will be tight by the pressure around the wrist.

    tying greets from germany

  • I could not find this song on ITunes. Can you please advise? THANKS!

  • @fstop107

    ...

For some reason it's not showing up on ITunes for me either. You may need to do a general web search for the MP3. The song is also available on Amazon.

  • Thanks for yet an other great tutorial, but I do the end part different, I pull both cords in the last loop, maybe a little more tricky but it looks nicer.

  • Kool!

  • Kool!

  • Nice video.

  • Awesome production value - quality demonstration. Thanks!!

  • this was the first sinnet i learned to do back in my scout days..... for survival bracelets, because it can be taken apart so fast in an emergancy.....lol... never knew the name of it though.... love your videos....

  • Very good how-to video. Thanks!

  • Sorry to have to repost this video so many times. I got a new computer and had to test out various various video quality settings - to see which one was best for YouTube.

    JD ~ TIAT

  • @TyingItAllTogether It's all good. I was wondering why the video kept appearing and disappearing haha

Great bracelet. I'm going to make one for myself with a bit of 550.

Do you know more bracelet options? I'd really appreciate a couple more ideas.
