Im sorry by my stupid question but i could not understand the measure of the cords. I use metrical system. What dou tou mean with 6:16? Is it 6 foot and 16 inch? Thanks and nice work.
i can get the simular thing with 1 piece of paracord, it looks exactly the same at the end, and it has a trick up it's sleeve, if you pull both ends, you will totally pull it apart
Hey u guys there are some really cool bracelets at moose jaw (moose jaw is a store) that's were I got mine and it's really cool what they do is they take rope measure it to ur size and they burn it together it doesn't hurt and u can't take it off unless u cut it and u can pick ur colors and they are NOT thick like this there nice and small and REALLY COLLEEN so yea go check em out!
@rayallenrocks28 Hmm, if they don't have a fastening end, that's rather poor work. I don't want to buy a bracelet and have to cut it off. Waste of money. Cords and robes get rather funky if they're not taken off often. Your skin's oil and sebum will build up.
whats the best way to measure out the length of the paracord used for this one, to make the regular soloman bar i use like 10-12x the length of the wrist.
should i also use about 10-12x the paracord for this?
NIce job, I love the fancy knots, but I personally am into building Pioneering Projects.. Check out my double span monkey bridge or my 35' hour glass tower... I love your work, and will try and work some of your stuff into my creations in the future.
Thank you so much for this video. I made this bracelet and it is very cool design, never seen it before :) By the way, awesome video on how to make it...Thanks again!
Awsome vid. Reminds me of those "....for dummies" books. One problem the music makes go crazy i freakin hate it luckily you dont talk so i can jus shut off the volume !(: other than that good videos! And to every1 who asked "can i use gimp and isnt it also called a butterfly stitch" the answer is yes to both questions
I like how in every video everybody asks the same thing.....where can i get paracord?.....can you use regular string?.....How much paracord did you use?
Pretty funny actually. I was just messing around with some spare cord I had and I ended up making these knots but with only one string. I think for how I was doing it, it'd be more suited as a keychain fob or something. So now thanks to this I'm covered on both fob's and bracelets ^.^ cheers!
I've only been looking at your videos for about five minutes, and I've decided that I love you. o.o XD Kidding. But, I do like your knotting; as I'm a hemp artist...i can't wait to try these. :)
Oh! And your music is lovely and therapeutic....name of the artist?
JD I have a question. Do YOU create all these knots? Do you carry cord around with you so if an idea strikes you can attempt it, kinda like how an artist would carry a pencil and sketch pad
@TyingItAllTogether That's really interesting. I've never heard of a knot artist, but I think it's different and unique. Can't wait to see some new knots!!
There are few new things under the sun -- I think you might agree to some extent that most, if not all, of your knots are a variations of some knot that appears in Ashley's Book Of Knots (ABOK).
Thanks for all your great videos. My 10 yo son is very interested in tying knots, as am I. We just watched this video and made a bracelet for him. Much thanks. These videos offer a great way to spend quality time with the kid on way too hot afternoon.
For some reason it's not showing up on ITunes for me either. You may need to do a general web search for the MP3. The song is also available on Amazon.
Thanks for yet an other great tutorial, but I do the end part different, I pull both cords in the last loop, maybe a little more tricky but it looks nicer.

the sinnet looks more consistent if you start with an square knot, the loop you create will be tight by the pressure around the wrist.
