  • i use one of these for work for the last 4 years...the best around.....an by the way, you've got the the power switch on,way its running loud.turn the bottom down to normal running mode ,then its not loud ,other then that,,recommond to anyone.

  • @FARQPIG You are lucky. my experience was ahh well #@$%! perhaps due to the ethanol in gas

But yes I just wanted to demonstrate the Eco off.

  • I'm a salesman a Braschs cairns we stock all Honda generators

These machines are great quiet fuel efficient great warranty well built and easy to start

When looking at buying either a yammy or a Honda consider that

Parts for the Honda are much easier to get if you live in rural areas like small town most small towns have Honda dealers unlike the yammy depending where you live

    Equally both good machines tho

Also Yamaha is slightly over priced

    Get the Honda ! :)

  • @BEASTDRIVER10 Indeed..

  • I had loan of the EU1000 version, and a sweeter generator you'll never find. Easy on fuel, and solid. As to exhaust noise, point it away from the house. You'll hear more whir than engine..

  • @dgr8zod Very true, other than the problematic main switch when humid I can't complain.

  • Ok thanks ..I personally was thinking of a sleek external padded housing utilising compressed muffling materials working with maybe an extension, like you mentioned, to redirect the exhuast, again figuring out the correct materials to use. Most helpful

  • @SpatialAnomoly Oh I see much like a sound accentuated cabinet, that might just be the thing

  • Can you get any generators quieter than this one ?

  • @SpatialAnomoly Not that I know off (but I am working on a extended muffler/ smoke stack exhaust that should divert the fumes and help silence the genny further

  • Hi I have Honda EU2000 generator.

Do you know how charge a 12v battery car with a DC Charging Cord?

  • @LLLTTTCCC Simple just plug in the special DC charging cord & the aligator clips on the batters, but you will only produce 8 amps so I would rather use a standard battery charger atleast 30 or 40 amp to speed this process up

  • @Begbucks 8amps, for how long? and when do I know my battery is fully charged? thank you

  • @LLLTTTCCC Well that depends on the battary size, but for groupe=29 105 AmpHr. could take13 hrs. if totally drained, since I advise against running the generator on Eco mode due to sticky valves at full throttle you'd need about 2.6 Gal of gas so not very efficent using the charging clamps vs about 3-4 hrs on a standard battary charger

  • @Begbucks 12v car battery

  • @LLLTTTCCC Yes or deep cycle but never 6 volt!

  • @LLLTTTCCC Yes or deep cycle but never 6 volt!

  • Cambell Hausfield Flux/Mig 80

  • I have one too. Great tool. What portable welder do you run off of this machine?

  • btw I do however have a extended run cap & tank that I'll post other vids off when when the need to long run arrises (hate storing gas at home you know) that I'll show in time this setup at about 18Kw a day (that I typiclly need) or about 2-3.5 Galons daily should run for 2-3 days on a 6 gal (& internal .95), Dan

  • yeah I failed to mention that the eco was off (it idles unsteady whan eco is on under no load & I heared that this gums up the valves & since when I run it, it's almost always under load of 60% running cap so I just go eco off), anyway the unit is stock with no mods & stock exhaust (other than about 1oz of Sta-Bill per gal of gas that I use) I'll look into the carb thing, that might be the cause of it. it's amazing what this unit can power w/ this little thing, & thanks for the tips!

  • I think you need to check your idle on your carb, my pair don't ramp up anywhere that high even with econo throttle off. To tell the truth I run a split AC unit, water pump, fridge, wireless cable box, 19" TV, two laptops, charge two cells, two stand up fans, wireless modem, wireless router, three energy saver lamps, jvc Kaboom box plus my washer off of my pair in parallel & have yet to hear them get that loud. Did you modify the exhaust? I also use Sta-Bil double dose for 2 year storage.
