Hey.. nice video...Does TextNow give you a phone number you can give out to your friends?? And what shows up on the person's phone when you text them.. is it just like a regular phone?

Can someone text you first? I heard that you have to always text a person first because if they send you a message you won't get it in your notifications.. Please answer/ reply to my question/ comment.

@jacobi1kenobi5 Honestly, ...... No. I am very disappointed in this application due to the lack of non free features and credits. If your looking for a good texting application then I highly suggest you look at the textFree app. It works great!

@nxt76 It will charge the receiver if he/she has a regular phone and not this application. But if she has this application then it will all be free!

Okay! I have a iPad 2 and have installed the app textnow. I know for sure that you can make calls on thus app but I'm having trouble making a call on the iPad. I do have minutes to use but where's the "call button? I need help bro, thanks.

@jacobi1kenobi5 I dont think that this application has a call feature all though......... The Application TextFree now lets you make calls so I recommend that ou check that one out!

@EJZ35 It will be free on your side cause your using that app but if your friend has a pay as you go phone then it will use up all of his/hers cellular time. Therefore I am really not quite sure why this is not working. Leave a video response so I'll be able to get a closer look into what's going on ! : )
