i was on the balcony when the growd started pulling the carpet from the stage and the drum set started bulging through the screen which began to rise so it wouldn't get shredded...bottles were flying and bouncers jumped off the stage with what looked like light sabers...i got down there as everybody was running out the light sabers turned out to be mike stands the bouncers were swinging indiscriminately. .i think it was the first time Johnny played in NYC since the pistols break up...
