I've been a professional counselor for 20 years. In that time, I've seen allot of graft and corruption in the mental health system. But one thing always remained; the oath I took when they gave me that license. And over the years, there have been many people who wanted me to skirt that oath and just "go with the program", mostly to do what's best for the agency, not the patient. I'm proud to say I never did and I never will. It cost me jobs, sometimes and promotions, but I will hang in there.

Lexington, of all places. I'm 100% for the Oath Keepers, so perhaps it IS a good thing they held this in MA (where I lived for years). Massachusetts has some of the most repressive gun control laws in the entire country. Mandatory one year in jail for illegal possession (even in your home). It's the devil's own job to get a permit. I was in security and held two, over the years, STILL got arrested for carrying and had to fight it in court--they wouldn't even honor their own permit! I barely won.

@ylism Sad? Semi-tragic. Lost a profitable contract security business over it. Cops screwed up, covered ass, it was an election year with Dukakis running on an anti-gun ticket. Politically correct MA judge gave me a year's "pretrial probation." Say what? I'm legally licensed!

My chickenshit lawyer said after, "Never heard of pretrial probation. Let's just get out of here." Yeah.

I don't understand there law's there for sure. Could not even imagine the situation you went thorough. But I am glad your life turned for the better. I'm half-way through reading Sheriff Mack's book: "The County Sheriff - America's Last Hope". It is one of the best books I have ever read on "self evident truths", common sense, individual liberty and responsibility, a republican form of government, etc. I'm going to arrange for Sheriff Mack to speak in Chicago.

If you have either windows Xp or vista there is a program included called windows DVD maker. Click on all programs and then click on Windows DVD Maker. If you have used it before there is no further need to tell you about it ..if not I had to teach myself to use it.(not that hard) wish you luck

I researched it-"The history of The Battle Hymn of the Republic is not as colorful as our National Anthem's, but this civil war song has evolved to become our "NATIONAL HYMN". The last word in the title describes what this whole nation is-A REPUBLIC! Can we now move on -saving this Republic? Northern States and Southern States have come together to battle a common enemy-The" Federal Government" by declaring their Sovereignty. I live in SOUTH CAROLINA-you know the first State that seceded.

We home school our kids ... ( wonder if we're on the terrorist list ) and have taught our kids that since the "victor" writes the "history" books, we need to carefully examine the accuracy or consider the possiblity that the "history" is inaccurate and even incomplete. I predicted that someday, in the very least, states will secede from union ... if not to have the south rise again, as often predicted thru the course of our history.
