I miss playing this Beast game. It just kind of got old after I got MW2.

In my opinion, this was and is one of the greatest FPS's. The only reason I don't think it got as popular as a COD game is because it doesn't have the big name that the COD series has made for itself.

Hopefully FarCry3 will come out soon. I'm thinking it will come out at the end of these consoles lives or when the next gen consoles come out.

If the game was realistic, first of all vision in real life is different, you can roll your eyes, focus and unfocus, so that is impossible. If you would be shot once, then that would do it to stop ya, in the game you have a keyboard and mouse, you may press the wrong thing, therefore doing the wrong thing, for example sprinting into a crowd while reloading or reloading while being shot at, you would never do that in real life, so combats a mess, I wouldnt say nightmares, but you would be pissed.

your actions would be more natural. you wouldnt have to think "ah, now which button will hide me behind this tree?".

you would just do it on instinct as soon as people shot at you.

you also dont get that instinctuall survival trait at all in games, cos there is no threat of death, so you dont mind standing out in the open so much.

as for far cry 2, ticklemeelmo, its just like a previous poster just said. Your probably going to be very frustrated the first few hours (tutorial) but after that, you can pretty much do anything you want in the game
