ABT has just revised their Nutcracker this year (2010) since the Opera is at the Met, they are at Brooklyn Academy of Music. I can't wait. I have my ticket to see Gillian Murphy dance the Sugar Plum Fairy. Now they have their own kids from their new (JKO) School (Jackie k Onassis) School.

BEAUTIFUL. i'm honestly sooo excited for them- they are coming to do the Sugar Plum Fairy and Cavalier in the Nutcracker I'm participating in this year!!! :)

I've been looking for a really good clip of this and so far it is. I danced it myself at ballet West and it is a killer. The footwork alone is hard. but, ABT is the best. Her extension is amazing. Finally. Some of these are awful and actually worse than I was. But, these two, my God! Watch her footwork, it is very hard!

i'm a young dancer, and i'm performing in the nutcracker in naples with miami city ballet. I got the pleasure of dancing in the same performance as mary carmen just tonight. she was the sugarplum fairy tonight as well.

this is an amazing ballet..done best by ONLY the ABT. My mother and I saw it every year when i was little. Love the music...
