  • the gas inside is quite valuable. We used to cook with one of these bottles connected to our stove, when we had the improvised kitchen with no gas tap. Each refilled bottle did cost £100+

  • skip yards will give you empty bottles as scrap companys wont take them

    Hes refering to a skip hire company, in the uk we call them skip yards.

  • @bxxder2008 pretty much the same here but the one i found still has a fair amount of gas left in it

  • Thanks for letting us know how to drain all the gas, not many people want to tell you if you know what I mean. Make sure you remove all the paint if your welding on the outside surface: the fumes can give you all sorts of trouble. 6013's are good general rods (cheap and cheerful). All the best. PAT
