@Moppy1988 FIFA is the governing body of all forms of association football, the AFL is the governing body of Australian Rules football, see the similarity? They are both governing bodies of their respective sports. You don't play 'AFL' the same way you don't play 'FIFA' (unless your referring to the video games). I could ask you the same question, how do you know that you have to be stronger to play soccer? Have you played a game of AR? It is one of the most physically demanding sports out.

@KatieInTheCloset I have played plenty of AFL, it's easy. You grab someone, you fall over, simple. In football, you have to make sure your body shape is just right in order to fend of the contact you know is coming. If you don't, you will be muscled off the ball every time. In AFL, you just have to be big (simple physics), in football, you have to be smart and know how to use your body (skill and strength).
