  • @danielwow2 You dont need a river to use a fly rod. u can use a fly rod in anything from ponds all the way to over filled drainage ditches. if there are fish you can use a fly rod. all you need is a little room to cast and then get creative! every where ive been in georigia there are small ponds or lakes holding largemouth bass and tons of panfish. then in northern georgia you have a few rivers and plenty small streams holding trout! so get out and get em. tight lines!

  • was this during the summer or what time of year

  • @223cartmen I would think early spring. the bass start spawning in my pond early in April

  • like the video last fish was a rockbass

  • nice fish on the fly rod but the music sucked a lil

  • @bubaJ100 you're crazy. the music was awesome and so was the fishing footage. to say david grisman and jerry garcia of the grateful dead sucks says a lot about bad things about the speaker of those words.

  • awesome video man,

What size popper were you using for the blugill?

  • Fishing small ponds is a blast!

    Good video, Shaq!

  • Nice vid. I love pond fishing in the summer with a fly rod and some big nasty flies :D

  • can u catch bluegill on a fly during february....and have u ever caught a bass on a bluegill trout

  • @fishnkid1923 yes ... in ny you can still catch blugill on the fly in feb. unless the water is frozen

  • are you using a popper?

  • one of my favorite songs ever great video!

  • grate tune!

  • wat fly were u using??

  • The song isnt by the grateful dead. its done by jerry garcia and david grisman on the shady grove album

  • Looks like fun.

I wish I could do this.

    :/

$200 fly rod.. No where to fish.

    Georgia is fail.

I have to go all the way to lanier for a decent river.

  • No better in Michigan. Got the rod and the gear, but all the water bodies are privatized. :( Maybe a few rivers, but even there you don't have as much freedom as to fish in a lake.

  • if your in the river ITS NOT PRIVATE! as long as you stay in the water NO ONE OWNS THE RIVER@! SO I DONT UNDERSTAND your dillemma

  • Deep obv. Only a few places with gravel.

  • just fish, who gives a shit.

  • You do, ovb ;D

  • Your feet are touching the bottom of the pond which is groound wich they own....

  • @fishaddict5 rofl, no. You could not be more wrong. i hope that was a joke

  • Its reel it happend to me while i was steelhead fishing. Anyway its a law in Ny and Maryland

  • @fishaddict5 , your an idiot, stfu.

  • Call the DNR they will tell you

  • @fishaddict5, why would i call and ask a ? that i already know the answer too?

  • This issue went to the state supreme court in Virginia over boat fishing in the Jackson River. Land owners won the argument that the fish in the river are also theirs as long as the fish are over their property. Doesn't make sense but there are sections of the Jackson you just can't fish without permission.

  • If you have a car, take a ride to northern wisconsin. Slay 'em there.

  • come down here to florida

  • The song, I think, is called "The Ballad of Casey Jones", by The Grateful dead

  • I'd like to know the name of that song too!

    I'm TxSteve44 on here.

  • Sounds like he said, "..fuck something" in the very beginning.

  • he did xD

  • i think he did

  • what weight rod is that?

  • good stuff bro.
