this album is good, but they should have gotten another guitarist, It's all power chord simplistic bullshit. The lyrics also sound like they were written by some hormonal 14 year old. With that being said, this is a decent album at best.
Well, i cant really speak for the band but i think they were trying to capture the essence of the original punk rock music movement. I think i recall a saying back then that went something along the lines of "Heres an A chord, E chord and G chord, now start a punk band"

this album is good, but they should have gotten another guitarist, It's all power chord simplistic bullshit. The lyrics also sound like they were written by some hormonal 14 year old. With that being said, this is a decent album at best.

Well, i cant really speak for the band but i think they were trying to capture the essence of the original punk rock music movement. I think i recall a saying back then that went something along the lines of "Heres an A chord, E chord and G chord, now start a punk band"
On the other hand, maybe the guitarist just sucked. I dont know haha

This album was one of the turning point albums in Punk. I love it. Just as it should be this album shows what punk can be.
"Take a thought , and just do it" Not over produced and lame , Not all fucking beautiful and cohesive. Just throw it out there with no apologies and no regrets. Just animal , and filled with disdain. Shit some of the best punk bands could barely play their instruments.
That isn't what it's about. Hell it is anti-music. It's not supposed to be put together and organized.

in heinseit all punk guitarists suck. They know they're no jimi hendrix they just wanna play what they wanna play. Most punk songs only take 3 chords (and 45 seconds). Maybe its just me, but Greg Hetson (Cj's Guitarist), Greg ginn (Black flag's guitarist) and East Bay Ray (Dead kennedys guitarist) Are the easiest to remember.
