Remakes and imitations, historically, have always proven to be failures. You CAN'T replace the original. Whether it be da Vinci's "Mona Lisa" or the Stooges. These people only come around ONCE and when they're gone, that's it. Even the Stooges themselves would have probably advised that they try something new and original instead of mere pale imitation. Hence why they were original to begin with.

I'm really impressed on how this is coming together. Moe and Curly look great but I am still on the fence with Hayes as Larry. He better pull off a convincing performance to compensate for his appearance. Still they Sean Penn or better yet, David Paymer would have been a better choice. Still, I am going to look at this as a completely new set of Stooges. As an adaptation. More good clean fun is what this increasingly nasty world is lacking. I hope they keep it that way in the movie.

Before I read the plot I was getting hyped up over this but now I believe it's going to be another failure.

The Stooges were a part of their time and it's hard to throw them into a modern situation and the retarded act of throwing those nothing piece of modern culture from the Jersey Shore into it has to be the most dumbest idea since electing George Bush Jr. Just having them as a cameo tells where this movie is heading and most of the Farrelly Brothers films can be said as art.
