By useing only a few gaps (2,3,4,5 Etc.) or all gaps you can tune your coil without ever changing gap sizes of the tubes ..Each added gap will add or remove .03125 "

( or what ever you space your tubes at ) to/from your overall gap.

Also when the time comes for cleaning the gaps you can simply soak the entire unit in a bath of baking soda and very hot water untill it comes clean ...R66D

you could cut a slot through the large tube...so that the gaps can be adjusted. by expanding or collapsing the large tube dia.

I may need help soon in tuning my coils.

The multi spark gap worked out well on a coil i have it on and made a very large output differance!!..... R66D

If you watch the video you will see that i have alotted for the holes in the pipes to be larger then the the bolts that go thru them so that there is some room for adjustments in the gaps ..R66D

hey r66dtesla i was trying to make or find out how to make a spark gap transmitter any chance you could help me.......i have been watchin alot stuff about tesla and im hooked and i wanna explore the field figured i start my first ever build with the spark gap transmitter also gonna watch more of your vids thanks for posttin it givvin me very helpful info
