Just watched this on Comcast on demand and the only way the title could've been more perfect is if it had been called cracked instead of cracks because that's exactly what it was, cracked. I can't say I took anything of value from it. Ms. G is a truly disturbed character. Fascinating at first then profoundly perverse. She reminded me oddly of Angelina Jolie crossed with Lisa Rowe the character she played in Girl interrupted. Brilliantly broken! Wise, but somehow wounded. Damaged goods, for sure.

I haven't seen the movie yet ( although, i would very soon,since eva green starred in it and it seems like a good movie) but many people said the movie reminded them of a classic from vishconti entitled 'death in venice' (1971).
