I found the acne stress control at publix even though it took me like ten minutes to find it there was only two left but ya I think this one good it also says its oil free power clear scrub microclear technology its kinda small but it might last a month or two thanks

@dianeefierce99 Moisturizing your face is still important, so you probably should use the lotion. It'll also leave your skin feeling fresh and healthy.
I like the products, but I must point out that washing with a wash cloth could be a really bad idea for a lot of people, if fact most people. It really irritates the skin, and unless you use a different one every time you will be spreading bacteria and dead skin.
@astropop2 Yes, I use the same method and just happened to wash this. I use the cetaphil morning and night, the neutragena at night, and the benz-peroxide as needed on big red spots, and a moisturizer. It works well. You may need to play with the bez-peroxide a bit. Some people can get away with just one application a day, and some people can use it up to 4 times a day. It really depends on your skin.

@660archi maybe you're allergic to benzoyl peroxide. i know my skin doesn't react well when i use lots of products with all those chemicals in it. try remedies like soak an aspirin pill in water till you could mash it and mix it with a little honey and put it directly on the pimple or just mix it with some moisturizer because you should be moisturizing your pimple so it could get smaller each time you wash it instead of drying it. but the MOST effective thing i've tried was tea tree oil. :)

@Nirazy8212, Yeah u could use the cetaphil day/night then once you dryed ur face apply the neutrogena( not as much as u put in the night just a lil in the morning if ur acne is very bad) let stay there for a min den moisturizer let dry then makeup thats in the morning .u apply the neutrogena at night after your done washing your face with the cetaphil.

what works for one..may not work for another. Cetaphil cleanser actually breaks me out. All over treatment can dry the skin. The only thing that works for me is Lever 2000 soap once per day, dab of alcohol and a bit of ProActiv mask.

@misstwistedprincess Yeah, but also it'll exfoliate your skin, if you exfoliate your face then it will get all the bacteria/dirt out of your pores. (which is VERY important b/c the dirt in your pores is how you can get ACNE)

The biggest problem I have with MOST drugstore skin care products is that most of them have artificial fragrance in them. My nose, my head, and my skin can't handle artificial fragrances. I live in Canada and i dont think u can get the benzoyl peroxide in 10% without a prescription..it only goes up to 5% so do u think this will be strong enough?

hey you may or may not be able to get back to this but it would be really helpful if so, right now im using clean and clear advantage 3 in 1. which contains 5% benzoyl peroxide. it says that it exfoliates skin, treats pimples and helps prevent breakouts. i put this all around my face everynight then after that i use CVS acne fighting moisturizer after putting the clean and clear on. do u recommend this?

hi ive been on proactive for 1 year, little results. Can i use 5% benzyl instead? Also im using the cetaphil oily skin cleanser instead of the daily facial cleanser. Thoughts?
I'm currently using benzac 5% water based gel. I have oily skin. Do i do this process twice a day? or can i just use the benzyl peroxide at night?

@mamichula8153...I've been trying this routine for about a month already and my acne is not getting better. I feel that I actually got new acne on and under my jaw line. I always had it in my cheeks but not under my jaw line! I don't know what I am doing wrong-- I already lost count of all the times I have watched this video to make sure I am doing things right. I do drink plenty of water too so am I the only one that got these results bc all the comments say that it did work... =/ Help!!! plz!

@1withwolves Makup causes Ance BAD, I was using MAC & not removing it with makupremover towlettes, another mistake, I used a Scrubbing Pore cleansor and all it did was push the makup in my skin and I broke out bAD. Never get breakouts but this got me :(.. I been using All the products she talked about except I use Proactive at NIGHT only,.

um............... just asking, is neutrogena a good brand cuz when i used my neutrogena oil-free acne wash, i started to see some kind of small not pimple but kinda looks like one but not a pimple and i don't know whats happening , nxt week i'lll change into a himalaya cleansing gel for oily skin. is it a good thing?

My question is. At night when I do this routine after I use the Cetaphil what do I put first the neutrogena 3 in 1 and then the moisturizer or moisturizer first and then the neutrogena? Other question.. After I use the Cetaphil do I still use the moisturizer with the milk of magnesia? or just Cetaphil, milk of magnesia then foundation...

@misstwistedprincess Yeah, but also it'll exfoliate your skin, if you exfoliate your face then it will get all the bacteria/dirt out of your pores. (which is VERY important b/c the dirt in your pores is how you can get ACNE)

heey! wonderful WONDERFUL review. thank you so much! but just out of curiousity.. do you use the neutrogena gel (2nd step) at night or morning and night? and if you stop using these products, will you start breaking out again? like i know a lot of products such as: proactive, only suppresses the acne, but once you stop using it.. you break out immediately because your skin has become dependent on it. is it the same for the neutrogena gel?

Tonight is the first time I've come across you and I must say, you have amazing skin! The biggest problem I have with MOST drugstore skin care products is that most of them have artificial fragrance in them. My nose, my head, and my skin can't handle artificial fragrances. I just don't understand why almost every product has fragrance, it doesn't make 'em smell good! Not to me anyway, it just makes me sick.

It works butttttt using 10% benzoyl peroxide is going 2 burn ur skin i recomend 2 start with the 2.5 or 5% cause i started with the 10% and it burned my skin but i'm going 2 continue this treatment and just 2 let u know got this acne routin from u thank uuuuu

I live in Canada and i dont think u can get the benzoyl peroxide in 10% without a prescription..it only goes up to 5% so do u think this will be strong enough?

I love Cetaphil! I had acne since I was 12 years old until the end of high school. In college at UCLA, I read about Cetaphil in a magazine & I bought it. I've never had acne ever since. I would definitely recommend it. Yes, Costco is very cheap. It's also made by Johnson & Johnson. :D
