okay people who say all barrel racers bounce around and flap there legs, hahahaha you make me laugh you ignorant jumpers. and by the way ALOT of jumpers have HORRIBALE POSTION .i barrel race and jump but jumping wil never be something i show in. theres no way i could ever put up with the people. and yes i understand there not all like that but, i mean come on people.

Well, then, my hats off to you. It takes talent to have composure to control your horse's every step without your cues being seen and keep your balance over jumps and then turn around and have your legs and seat flapping everywhere. I don't know, maybe some barrel racers can ride without bouncing and flapping all over the place, but the 'top' racers I've seen do.

I mean true dressage and jumping. anyone can go in and ride a training level test, but to do it properly is a whole different thing.

no i totally understand dressage and jumping is way prettier and takes more control than a barrel racer does. barrel racing is basically just for fun

@ilovecruiser well how do you know have you ever barrel raced it take talent and lots of control because if you lost control in barrel racing you will most likly kill your self i have never jumped or done dressage but i know it is difficult too

@cowgirl295m Yes I've barrel raced before and shown my horses in it. Dressage and jumping takes alot more skill and control than barrel racing does. Barrel racing does take alot of skill and concentration though,
