Hey, thanks for the kind words. The bass is a Peavey Foundation....pretty basic bass...can find em pretty cheap. I was playing it through a Johnson J-Station (R.I.P.) bass model.

Didn't really do anything special just set the levels and played through my J-Station (R.I.P.). Pretty much just plug and go with the VF-16. Are you thinking of buying one or one of Fostex's other recorders?

Thanks a lot. I think the limit is something like 28 seconds. I got this one when they first came out so I don't know if later editions increased or anything.
