some molten metal went through my show a few minutes ago, and i just had my friend take some pliers and rip the rest of the droplet off....

its not that deep and now that i have cleaned it its red and white in the focus area. and i may just have to use dawn soap to keep it clean and im not going to the hospital (bc im a starving college student who cant spend)

a whole pot of boiling water just spilled on my arm while I was pooring it down the drain...

I'm surprised at how quickly the heat acts. Whithin a second, I couldn't feel my hand anymore. My nerves were burnt. At first, I thaught it wasn't anything bad, because I couldn't feel any pain. But I rushed to the bathroom and cooled it with water. The pain started coming 3 minutes later... My hand is all red and swelled now... and only getting worse it seems...

i got a burn from playing with gasoline and being stupid and my friends were laughing the asses off but anyways is it possible to get an infection from the gasoline????? and also is having 2 giant bubbles normal???

Its a wound, gas or not, so yes infection is possible. The blisters are part of the burns, 2nd degree ones at that. Did you go to A&E (ER)?

Yeah its very normal thats a 2nd degree burn you should go see a Doctor for that because complication is a possibility

What does the plastic do?

The plastic is put on instead of gauzes because when changing out dressings, the skin won't stick to the plastic. If they used a gauze, theres a possibility of the skin peeling off when it's removed.

Plus it's for protection :)
