Interesting that Hitchens can be so naive as to believe that the crimes of Kissinger are individual and not institutional. Or perhaps he knows that if he correctly placed the blame on the institution, he wouldn't get published.
@DonJulioBlanco2002 Which do you think is more likely; that Christopher Hitchens is naive, or that you're entirely and exactly wrong. Talk about making oneself look foolish...
@DonJulioBlanco2002 To also talk in terms of Hitchen's being naive... in what respect is Hitchen's being naive in respect of the: literally the hundreds of hours researched into the crimes of Kissinger... and then the effort to fact check every detail 'to the ninth degree' before publishing.... the naivety it seems is you're own... Have you even read Hitchen's book? ...if not your comments are just 'hot air'.
@DonJulioBlanco2002 There is no such thing as an institutional crime.... collective crime is a meaningless concept. Crimes are committed by individuals.... even if those individuals are part of a gang. To shift the blame of crime from the individual to the institution is immoral.... It leads to excusing individual crime as the responsibility of the group.... and not the individual or individuals who 'pulled the trigger'.
@kidlomax Nah. I think our chimp cousins have their philosophy of life properly sorted. The complex human brain's going to turn into an evolutionary liability sooner or later.
At 8:23, Christopher says a German phrase for turning point, I heard "Tendons Vendor" but couldn't find it on the interwebs. Anyone know what it means?

@DonJulioBlanco2002 He places the blame upon both. Have you read his writing? Kissinger is just the most flagrant individual criminal.

Hitchens is phenomenal. Of course oil is important. These self-indulgent idiots in the crowd don't understand SHIT about geopolitics.

@EJtheDJ86 Christopher says 'Tendenzwende', which translates as 'turning point'. Literally a change 'Wende' in the tendency 'Tendenz'.

@princemuqrin thanks for that. I've heard him say that a few times and couldn't find any reference to what it means.
