This looked like it was a pretty awesome game; very exciting (This is coming from an American). I was ok with team Canada's win because three Blackhawks were on the team (Toews, Seabrook, and Keith) I was really happy that the overhead screen showed the three of them celebrating at the end of the video!!

First off, I'm American. I rooted for them till this match, great team and players they have, but Canada was gonna win. Before the game, I kept saying Canada and "watch out for crosby.. sooo good" but my dad always kept saying "where's crosby? where's crosby?" he always goes against my team haha. But when this goal was scored, i just stood up, turned around, smiled, and said "there he is." and left the room. gotta play COD..

im so glad you posted this, ive been trying to find videos of the game because i was playing hockey at the time. It's amazing how the whole of Canada cheered when that goal was scored. It's make me happy and proud that i was able to witness my country win a gold in our game during our hosted olympics.

@SuperYAGB Brett Hull played for the US team because he wasnt good enough to make the Canadian team when he was younger. Because his Dad is Canadian and his mom American since he wasnt good enough to play for Canada the US asked him to play for them. So from then on he stayed with them but he prob wouldnt have had much playing time on a TEAM CANADA since he cant play D. Better the US take him as we have many many great players

It's up there with Joe Carter hitting that homer that gave The Blue Jays their world series win. It's made alot more poignant because here we have a scenario where Crosby and all his team mates are actually Canadian. Love baseball too- but Joe Carter is an American, after all.
Having lived in Australia for the past 10 years, I was watching this game on tv, and haven't had a more patriotic moment. I actually lost my voice from screaming so much. It's a moment I will always cherish. Go Canada Go!

Winning 1 game isnt LUCK. and im pretty sure every canadian doesnt give a shit about any other sport but hockey... and just like you guys, we've beat you before at other sports.. and ONE thing for you to think about... canadas populatoion is roughly 34 million and usa's population is 310 million. Thats 10 times as much as canada. that also means you guys have a bigger population to select your teams from so you guys theoretically have no problem beating as at sports.

It's up there with Joe Carter hitting that homer that gave The Blue Jays their world series win. It's made alot more poignant because here we have a scenario where Crosby and all his team mates are actually Canadian. Love baseball too- but Joe Carter is an American, after all.
Having lived in Australia for the past 10 years, I was watching this game on tv, and haven't had a more patriotic moment. I actually lost my voice from screaming so much. It's a moment I will always cherish. Go Canada Go!

As an American... I still cringe. But like @jazzguitar2010 , I wasn't looking forward to seeing those commercials either. And hell, you gotta admit, the kid is good. Not to mention we made it to over time and we did beat Canada a few days prior so I suppose I'm not too disappointed.
