@Ultrahumaknight only way u can legally have in NY is with a class 2 license and good luck getting one if ur not a dealer. It's under 18" barrel length and 26" overall which is the minimum for any shotgun/rifle regardless if it manual feed or semi-automatic. I've been looking into modding out a seiga 12 but theirs not much to do so I gave up.

@TheGreenPlague FAIL. Cops are held to higher standards and stricter scrutiny. It's actually harder for them to get away with things. After they pay the tax and the weapon is registered to them (or their trust or LLC) there really isn't any law to bend or break, anyway other than interstate transport in which case they would file a form 5320.20 with the ATF which is free and does not require approval. The only other laws that are likely to apply in most places would be carry laws.

Besides, this debate could go on forever, people who know cops personally or have never been falsely victimized due to whatever current "laws" there are will unconditionally support cops. Whereas people like myself who study crime historically see that generally it's the law makers and authority who are criminals.

Simply put: no they can't be sold to Canada. There's a whole ton of legalese gibberish that goes into explaining why, but for the sake of brevity, I'll simply say that it's something to do with the National Firearms Act

This firearm is classified as an "any other weapon" and is registered with the federal government under the NFA. NY is pretty much an anti-freedom state and does not allow its servants to own anything potentially dangerous. Basically this is simply a shotgun, nothing special.
