  • that looks fun............

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAAH WTF :D RESPEKT :D

  • where did you get the music for it?

  • @matey800 i guess he done it by ear

  • 0:55 is the best part.

  • If you have really only been playing for two weeks, you're pretty incredible, unless you've had drum experience maybe?

  • Omg awesome I played it on my gut air

  • How much was it to rent it

  • Thats amazing how you teached yourself without a teacher. As a percussion student I have to tell you that is not a xylophone that is a vibraphone. A xylophone and vibraphone are just like a piano. If you notice a piano has black keys that are a little bit above the white keys. A xylophone is exactly like that but if you see the keys on the vibraphone are all at same level.

  • @ShawnaKlink93 if he can play that well on it i dont see why it even matters so instead of trying to school someone just watch it ok

  • @omickiyousofine010 I was not trying to be rude.

  • 18 people turned into a lard lad donut

  • That's amazing. Can you make a top down view next time

  • Awesome are you sure it is a xylophone not a marimba?

  • @xzzemoboy1999zzx that is a vibraphone

  • @ShawnaKlink93 Ohhh ok

  • Amazing

  • Fucking Ace !

  • MAKE MORE~!@#$@!~!@#

  • How do you do that?

  • If I could play like that, i'd go to malls and bring a tip jar.

  • Could you mail me the notes you played?? Thanks!

  • thats a vibe

  • this is really freakin impressive

  • @KillerofErdbeeren actually its a xylophone at least thats what the title says

  • I've played the Vibraphone piece for this!!!! Its fantastic!!!!!!! I take it the melody your playing was from a set for an ensemble, as it is the exact meoldy piece that was in the ensemble I played in.

  • i dislike the angle

  • It's so cute *-*

  • 0:48 EPIC WIN

  • that is a xylophone or a marimbas?

  • thats a wood xylophone retards

  • Is this a vibraphone

  • @skeletalm no it's a xylophone it's even i nthe title..

  • Good job man! I caught a couple of mistakes, but on the whole your performance was very impressive and I got a kick out of it. Thumbs up!

  • Totally awesome! You should be proud!

  • marimbas have lower notes than a xylophone and these sound higher so it must be a xylophone

  • Comment removed

  • great!!!

  • Dude, for someone that's been playing for two weeks, this is quite awesome. And I know because I've been playing 3 years and I don't think I could pull it off.....

Post some more video's!! I'm curious about your progress since the 2 years this vid's been online.

  • xylo.marimba accidentals are raised from the naturals

  • awesumness!!!

  • Notes please?

  • Probably the best thing i've ever seen.

  • you...ROCK!

  • EPIC SWEETNESS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Oh no! That's the music you hear when skeletons dance! // Homer

  • That is a vibraphone.

  • @AZNLucifer97 Thats not a vibraphone!!!! vibraphones are smaller, metal, and they have a pedal.

  • awesome :D

  • I used to play xylophone, had to quit. I miss my xylophone :(

  • Marimba

  • sweet

  • Wow Your Really Great! I Play Xylophone too but im probably not as good as you :(

  • that was good i have been playing for xylophone for like 4 years nd cant play scales that fast:D

  • EXECELLENT (y) !!!!!

  • sheet music?

  • Pretty bad technique just work on using more wrist and less arm when playing strokes, I recommend using the piston stroke, it's pretty much what everyone else in the world uses, basically take your mallets and put them on the keys, then lift the mallets up ONLY using your wrist, though it depends on the height of the instrument and how tall you are, I really cant tell you what's wrong without being there. Though I think you did an AWESOME job on the 16th note runs ESPECIALLY for only 2 weeks.

  • Wow could I have the notes? please that's awesome!!!

  • wow that was really good

  • OMGOD THAT WAS FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Somehow reminds me of the sims...

  • cool!!!!!!!!

  • omg i cant believe how you can do those runs with ease i always fuck those up lol

  • awesome :)

  • this is super dooper

  • How old is your instrument? They don't make layouts like that anymore!

  • what are the notes!? :)

  • hello :) what kind of mallets you use?

  • 2 weeks? You're pretty good, man.

  • nice!!!!!

  • 0:15

  • I want an xylophone so badly but they are way to expensive

  • O.O

  • i think it's a marimba

  • AMAZING!

  • how can you play that? THE ACCIDENTALS AND NATURALS ARE THE SAME HEIGHT!!! 0_o

  • i think you did an awesome job. nice!

  • HAHAHHHAHAHAAHAAA!!

  • thats fucking amazing !!!!!

  • what did bart have to write this time?

  • OMG; WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this appears to be a marimba. Not a Xylophone.

  • @BrasilianMusician looks like a xylophone to me.... Marimba's usaly have thinner or skinner bars

  • @kdog385 The sound appear a marimba. Well... I´m not percussionist.

  • @BrasilianMusician Yeah I think it's because of the mallets he's using (softer) so I could see why you thought it was a Marimba.

  • @kdog385 it looks like the marimba I use at school

  • @kdog385 Its a xylophone, same color as a marimba though, marimbas are much much much much bigger.

  • LOOOOOL !!! so nice !! you're really good !! nice song choice ! :D

  • zeker good

  • awesome job! like other people have said, try using your wrists a little more, in the end you'll end up working less. also, get some harder mallets...I believe the ones you're using right now are for Vibes, not xylophone. Really well done though, i've been looking for the music to this for years!

  • You've got too much money.

  • muito bom, ahah xD

  • pro

  • richtig gut ich liebe Simpsons !!!

  • omg. can someone tell me the notes or where i can get them???

  • Yep, use more hand and change those mallets, and you will succeed! :)

  • only 1 tip use more wrist seems like your using alot of arm

  • @WetzelMusic

ya i should be more like a fulcrum

  • That would sound horrible on bells but can you please tell me the notes for that song :].

  • nice job. i couldnt do that. at least you didnt screw up big time. they were only minor. but the song sounded great 5/5

  • Haha... first of all... keep your fingers on the mallets... and use your wrists :D

  • lol

  • im in band so i can play on alot of instroment

  • i want to learn how to play this on bells

  • I play the bells

  • wat kind of xylo is tht

  • cool

  • hehe... this all starts from being band geeks :) so suck on it!

  • nice nice nice!!!

  • Dude i REALLY need to find a decent xyplahone.. this oen luks gd whats it called and price PLEASE???

  • oh man my school just got a new one; it was like love at first sight haha

  • Ahhhh i wish our shcoo had one!!!!!!!!

  • oh haha, do you guys have marimba or bells?

  • where did you get the music for this

  • One of Hans Zimmer's greatest works.

  • your video made my day. nice work man!

  • that shit looks complicated to play!! nice job dude!

  • what the f#ck! this is a vibraphone

  • no its not

  • amazing :-)

  • Play it alone is easy, but try to get in a orchestra... Xylophone only produces not pair sounds...=D

  • ok so don't us so much arm and use wat my teacher calls the piston stroke...hit the bar and bring it bak up..also don;t use ur fingers on the slow parts use ur wrist(i know this cuz i play mallets all the time^^) anyway make sure u don't click ur sticks together when playing. ur double stops need to sound like 1 note not a flam. also (use this for marimbas and mallte instrument that resonate) when ur done playing don't just drop ur mallets ur want the sound to come out of the instr. good job!

  • yes i seriously am thx a lot o and we're aiming to get a used one... so hopefully it won't be as expensive.

  • Amazing! :D

  • you might want to use harder mallets on xylophone...it'll be a lot easier on your hands

  • Relax your hands more. If your tense you'll have trouble getting the speed you want.

  • WOW

  • hey, you're awesome.. how did you learn this? do you have the sheets?

  • I've been trying to find some sheet music for that but couldn't find it anywhere...can you make a tutorial or post the sheet music? By the was that was pretty sweet!

  • PLZ HELP! me and my friends r getting a xylopphone 4 the music room @ our school!!! We want to get 1 first!!!! then we'll get more...which one should we start out with??? I like the sound of this one. what type is it??? How much r xylophones usually????? THX PLZ HELP!!!! ps GREAT job!!!!!

  • Are you seriously trying to get help from a YouTube comment?...

  • usually they cost like $20,000

  • good job but a little less arm more arm but overall good job

  • mhmm the last 2 comments are good, Also, nice job with that fast part xD

  • your playing too hard. ease up and you will sound/play better.

  • use a lil less arm and more wrist

  • yeah

  • @soccer10123 agreed.

  • @soccer10123 i agree (as a percussionist I have some practice in mallet instruments) honestly, still better than I could do...though I may be able to play it with practice.....anyway, you should try the three other trills you didn't play, it sounded incomplete without them >.< lol, its good though, good job

  • try to hit using your wrist instead of using yr arm...the rest is good

  • as for performance it was pretty good but for technique your just using way to much arm....it was to come from your wrist other wise your ganna get some major carple tunnel....AND DIE!!!! no u wont die but seriosly dont use so much arm lol

  • Hey I love ur video pretty cool =]!

u should make a video tutorial XD

I wanna learn how to play the xylophone.. is it hard??

  • it isn' hard. its like playing piano with only 2 fingers:D

my english is not good enough for a tutorial, but thanks for asking:)

  • i thought shes a good teacher?!

    this damn sticky cupboard...

  • @MrSonnenmove I play the xylophone. It's pretty easy, especially if you can read piano music

  • @MrSonnenmove r those upper keys sharps?

  • @MrSonnenmove ok heres a question what the xylophone that you carry round for band pronounced like belayer

  • @mello666Raww it isn't really hard u just need to know ur notes

  • @mello666Raww doesnt look that hard but it hard to memorize and hard to play those fast parts

  • that's awesome mr.sonnenmove!

    you're an autodidact, arent you?

what deeper meaning in your name? explain pls...
