@kodyman20 yea in reality as long as you are holding it right fully knowing what is going to happen after you fire its no big deal. but sometimes people can look like they have the proper hand alignment but not the actual grip, and the 44 or 357 can give u a face-tap so giving them a 50 cal is just asking for it unless u know that grip is right. those 12 gauge slugs tho lol.. pops made me shoot one when i was a kid, it was freaking huge, oldschool and rounded. now those slugs are serious shit

@Magneticitist 12 gauge slugs are still in a shell and are the same size as a regular shotshell they just have 1 1 ounce chunk of lead instead of 1 ounce of about 250 tiny ass BBs i think you might be getting confused with a different type of ammo

@kodyman20 lol no.. when you live in the south a shell can contain anything you want it to. and of course its in a shell, where else does the powder come from? the slug im referring to was an oversized slug that my pops had jammed into a shell with way too much gun powder, just cause he was insane. all i remember is this particular slug was way larger than any slug you will find on the shelf today, and it practically filled the entire shell. it was literally the entire size of a shell damn near.

@mikecicchini What I mean by the grip is that, the cup and saucer grip is ineffective in containing the recoil. For example, the old "cup and saucer" grip. That's the one where one hand grips the gun and rests in the upturned support hand, like a cup in a saucer. The main problem with this is that no matter how hard you grip with the support hand, the gun recoil will separate your hands and you will have to continually re-establish your support hand grip... Dimwit ;)
