  • "Don't do that." - Martin Amis. One of the strongest lines I've ever heard. Packs a massive punch.

  • I LOVE ATHEISTS

  • Anyone who puts loyalty to the group ahead of the general benefit of humanity is a piece of shit.

Yes, that includes Jewish tribalism on display for all to see here.

  • @socratic1968: Well you see specifically Zionists as a movement not only puts the group ahead of humanity .. it considers Zionists only to be human, and thus all who oppose Zionism to be animas. You may think this is farfetched, but I urge you to research their own literature and see where they place "gentiles" in their globalist views.

  • @Fukkutah That is not true IN THE LEAST. The father s of Zionist thinking did not reduce all other people into a subhuman state. That is a completely ignorant, and I even suspect antisemitic, thing to say

  • The playwright John Osborne in his autobiography gives as examples of obvious lies, one, "I'll only put it in a little bit," and, two, "I'm happy I'm a Jew."

  • "If you're a Jew, stay away from nuclear physics and psychiatry above all" Lol

  • @alienmoonbase

    Atleast they beat Muslim

  • I'm in a graduate degree program for nuclear engineering and have a degree in physics. I also took quite a number of psychology classes in undergrad. Hahaha... you suck.

  • @constantijn87 - Amis is a second-rate writer, tedious talker in love with the sound of his own fruity voice, and endless rider on the coat tails of a brilliant writer, Bellow.

The sycophantic audience mew and titter at every arch remark, I would be surprised if anyone went home with dry pants.

  • what are you babbling about. have you read anything by him?

  • hahahaha! "doubt if anyone went home with dry pants"

You've proved that the only posts on youtube are the ones with lots of negative red numbers.

  • ....seems to me the first sane thing I've heard in this comedy was that young man who seemed to be saying something like, wouldn't it to be better if we didn't define ourselves as the most hated people in history - which he was ridiculed for, though rather sneakily by Hitchens, " I'm not sure I understand the grammar of your question." Rather ignoring antisemitism seems to me one reason why many Jewish people are so dignified. Also why the phrase, "It's coz am Jewish innit." aint so familiar.

  • Why, would you ever hide your ethnicity? I wonder.

  • @Gozillacia Agreed.

  • Clearly you are - a - total - idiot

  • Amis seems to be describing every other mental illness than manic depression. "Another symptom of manic depression is obsession with electricity," er, what?

  • Hehe. True. Obsession with electricity was common among many "psychotic" fin de siecle writers, but certainly not a symptom of manic depression...

  • He's arguing about the de-individualising tendency in labelling other people under these mental criteria - categorising a person as "manic-depressive" is to de-individualise them , to do them an injustice

  • Perhaps you should listen again, for that is patently not what was being argued. And please try to refrain from bandying words like idiot around when you're communicating with others - it really isn't necessary if you've got something worth hearing.

  • "Honoured that you're here"

  • Loved the ending :)
