great review. I just bought it yesterday along with other la mer products (btw, your skin is F L A W L E S S so i will definitely check more of your videos ;p)
SInce December 2009? I thought u can't use an eye product after six month from first use! But this is an expensive balm! I used the moisturiser and it says 24 months and safe around the eye area but as I mentionned before I really want this balm! Great reviews about it everywhere!
Hello!I would like to ask you something...Have you ever tried easy eye solutions eye creams for dark circles and puffiness?Reviews as well as before and after pics are fantastic all over the web...thanks.London.
Dont you think that a product being opened for a long period of time goes bad, and it doesnt have the same affect as in thee beginning. A pharmacist once told me not to use a cream longer than six months because it oxidate and has a same affect as a regular cream.
Hey, I was wondering if you've ever tried the Givenchy Le Sion Noir? Apparently, It's a black algae extracted "anti-aging" face cream from deep down the ocean. And its sold exclusively at Sephora. Givenchy recently came out with an black eye cream too. Tell me what you think.
What's your opinion on Paula Begoun when she says that LeMer is just over-priced stuff and cheaper brands achieve the same thing with equal quality in ingredient formulations? She also claims that any high end product in a jar packaging is bad because open jars introduce lots of oxygen that degrade the products faster. Why do cosmetics giants in the U.S. always slap on French names to their products? LOL
hello dear:) after using the guerlain eye orchidee cream, that is also very good, and whatching your video video I bought yesterday the eye bald intense from la mer. I'm gonna combinate it with my favourite eye gel from la prairie, la prairie in the morning and la mer in the evening. I bought also the hydrating infusion, this is my must have:) And they gave me to samples:
the regenerating serum 5ml and the cream 7ml.
I was very happy, cause we never have samples from la mer in germany:(

you're great! I mean, I won't be using anti-aging products any time sooner since I don't need them right now, but you still make me wanna watch your reviews because of how nice and accurate you are! thanks, michael! haha
my mom loves shiseido anti-aging products (revital/benefiance lines), you should check them out! :) xxx
@prettyblissful It was in a limited edition set. It was the set from neiman marcus that came with the eye concentrate and a .5 oz lifting serum. It came in a big green wooden box for somewhere around $395. It was a pretty good deal I thought. haha. Thanks for asking :D
The 2oz Creme de La Mer lasts me a little over a year as well. I've only tried the eye concentrate so maybe when I run out I'll try the eye balm intense. To anyone interested Neiman Marcus now has their beauty event so with a purchase of $300 in La Mer products you can receive
@prettyblissful Awesome!! Thanks for the heads up on the promotion going on at NM. Also, I am thankful that you shared your experience with your 2oz of the creme. People dont realize that it really lasts for months and months, where as a cheaper cream may be used up in 2 months. :D -Michael
one thing that makes me more then skeptical of La Mer is the mineral oil and petrolatum, which are just cheap fillers, for something that is so expensive i can find much better high quality ingredients for way cheaper. sometimes you just cant buy into all the hype.
Um, Hello Beautiful!! Anyways, here's my problem: Even though I'm only in my 20's, I've noticed a slight hint of "fine lines" under my eyes - yikes! I recently bought Clinique's "All About Eyes", and while it hydrates my under eye area, I've yet to see an actual improvement on the actual fine lines. Would you recommend this product for someone like myself? I moisturize with Philosophy & Clinique products and my skin is lovely, but my under eye area needs improvement...Help!
@MacNymph I absolutely understand what you mean, and you raise a very very good question. The truth is that it is really impossible to know without doing scientific tests like a skin biopsy. In my opinion, with a softener like the hydrating infusion, I believe it does penetrate well beyond the epidermis. But you would still probably want to apply a serum that has deep penetrating ingredients prior. I just really respond well to the creme de la mer...so I might be a bit biased. hehe. Thanks!! -M
Great video as always :) the length is just perfect, I really have no problem watching the whole thing since you are so informative and interesting. I was just wondering what editing program do you use?
@honeyflower3 Thanks so much. Ya, i always prefer more information than not enough. Unfortunately, I do need to find a way to condense the same amount of information into a few minutes less. Thanks so much for watching. I use Adobe Premier Pro. :D
hey this is kind of a lot to ask but can you maybe do a review on the La prairie cellular radiance eye cream i just got it and so i was just wondering what you thought i havent used it yet
@ulqiora44 I will definitely write that down in my folder. I have always been interested in the cellular radiance line. I might get a deluxe sample or something...but I do want to get the full size as my next eye cream. Thanks so much for the suggestion. -Michael
@DreamsiclesMeltAway I use the foaming cleanser (i have a review up on the cleanser :D ). From my personal experience, the creme de la mer will last me about 10 months to a year (2 oz.). That is with only using a very small amount...which is as much as you need to cover your whole face. If you apply it to your face and neck, it will last 7-8 months. In my mind, the price is justified by the length of time it lasts. Thanks so much for watching :D
@raspberrypineapple Haha, thank you so much. You always leave the nicest and most flattering comments. I am more than happy making these videos :D -Michael
@jameelamh Hello :D When you say spot, do you mean blemish, or hyperpigmentation? Also, thanks for your kind words. i do try to be "thorough", but sometimes i go too far :D -michael
Thank you so much for a very thorough review! Every time I watch your video I want to go and buy the product. I did not have an intention to try La Mer, because I never believed the hype, and I am very happy with my Caudalie skincare, but now I'm thinking I need to check it out!
@apelsinka26 Thank you so much. It is definitely worth getting a couple samples (one of the creme and one eye cream sample). Just make sure to apply the creme correctly :D to be honest, a lot of it is hype, but the products work better than anything else I have tried, and I have torn through the best of the best on my mission for the best products. La Mer doesnt work for all people, but it certainly works miracles for many. Plus the products last forever (somewhat justifying the high cost). -M
@Kukula84 Wow, thank you so much! That is a very flattering comment. I really appreciate it. I will keep working hard to produce high quality and helpful videos :D Again, I thank you. -Michael
@ShubhpreetC Yes. I actually talked about this at the end of the review. I hope they transition into a tube form. For this cream, I dont think oxygen will affect the ingredients that much. It is very air tight, clean, and the container is totally opaque. Still, I hope the lackaging changes :D Thanks so much for watching -Michael
@jadeyfamous I agree with you. The eye creams have always packed less of a punch than the creme. This one is only about a week old though, so it might be worth getting a sample to try out. It is significantly improved from the old eye balm :D Thanks so much for watching :D
@jadeyfamous Good point...the creme is definitely my favorite. However, this eye cream has been significantly improved. I cant wait to see their upcoming releases (although I dont know of any, but there is usually two new items each year). Thanks for sharing your feedback :D I appreciate it :D
I love watching you and your reviews. Thank you for being YOU! I await for your videos. Have you ever thought of doing a HOLY GRAILS video? It would be very interesting to you all your products.
@trangjkk Awesome! Thanks for the idea. I will definitely put that down in my folder of ideas. Thanks so much for your kind words also :D I really appreciate it :D
@gudiyachettu Thank you very much. I am trying to cut down the length, but I was very excited about this product and I can just talk and talk..haha. Thanks for watching :D
wonderful review. very thorough and thoughtful. thanks so much. i also loved the demonstration of the eye massage. i am definitely going to incorporate it into my daily routine. bye bye bags (she said with crossed fingers :D)
@northnailnut Awesome...yes, small changes like the eye massage can make a big difference. It is perfect for addressing a number of eye area concerns, plus I think it helps the product absorb better and it is always beneficial to stimulate circulation. Thanks so much for watching :D
@sherribailey75 Awww, thank you so much. You know, I only applied the creme de la mer and the SPF 30 UV protecting fluid before this video. Of course, my eyebrows are filled in and I am wearing the Giorgio Armani #5 bronzer. hehe..thanks so much for asking :D I would have inclued this in the description, but I ran out of room (I didnt know that was possible). -Michael
@frostyboinz I will definitely put that on my requests list. I have heard great things, I have just never really come across the brand here in L.A. However, I have been interested for over a year. Thanks for the idea :D
Love your videos, Michael, and your coverage of high-end products. Am interested in La Mer but just about every eye creme inflames my skin in the eye area. I wonder if any vendors of La Mer will credit returns in cases of allergy. Thanks for praising it for sensitive skin. However, what would really enhance this review would be an evaluation by a mature person who uses this product.
@telket1 You know...i actually dont know if they will accept returns. However, I know that nordstrom has a "dont ask" and super easy return policy, so I am sure this information would be on their website (as to whether or not you can return la mer). i would say yes, but I am not sure. This eye cream is perfect for sensitive skin. In fact, you could probably rub it on your actual eye and you wouldnt notice (serious, but also kidding...sorta). I wish I had a mature perspective too :/
@xFleurAmourx Hehe...thank you so much. To be honest, I have a lot of fun doing them while editing. Sometimes I get carried away, but I will always insert them :D thanks so much for watching :d
here is my experience- i never looked my age- when i hit 50-and i thought i better start doing something and i found dior creams & other anti age stuff did more damage- i let my skin recover-here is my feeling on anti wrinkle creams- like diet pills- everything is a temporary fix- if diet pills really worked there would not be fat people if wrinkle creams really worked the makeup wemon who sell you this would not have lines!- i alwasy go back to DIET DIET DIET- and exserize- lots of love shelly
@magicadespell56 You make a great point, and you are very right. Still, there are some ingredients that your skin must have and it is possible to delay the appearance of aging significantly. For instance, the one who wears SPF every day will look 20 years younger when they are 70. HA and retenoids are also essential for the preservation of skin structure and volume. Otherwise, a lot of the junk is gimmicks and hype. With a great diet, exercise, and some of the basics, you can look great 4ever :D
@azianricefarts Hahaa...thanks! Great references. I can totally see where you are coming from with those four characters. This cracked me up, so thanks ! -Michael
hey dear, nice to see you again. U do look perfect in this video, I'm gonna fall in love:))
I think, we dont have the new eye balm intense in germany yet:( But the old balm isnt in shops anymore.
How is this product comparing to the eye concentrate? are the ingredients similar? what product would u recommend for prevention of eye wrinkles? I really love the old eye balm, but isnt avalable anymore, so now I dont know:(
@toxic416 All I can say is that this is a major improvement over the older eye balm. The ingredients are stronger and much higher quality. The ingredients are somewhat similar to the eye concentrate (the concentrate has a bit more of the "broth" but the eye balm is a close contender without a doubt). For the prevention of wrinkles, the eye balm is the best option. The eye concentrate is more of treatment for existing wrinkles, although it is certainly preventative too :D Thakns so much!
@MrsTheDoll Thakns for asking Deb. Believe it or not, I actually ran out of room in the description box and I couldnt even fit in the last two paragraphs of my written review...hehe. I will have to start a blog page for these written reviews. Actually in this video I just used the giorgio armani brow pencil and NYX milk as an under brow highlight. Other than that, I am not wearing anything. :D
@playingwithdarkness Basically, all wrinkles have to do with three very basic factors (moisture, genetics, and natural loss of the connective proteins etc.). Dryness is the one constant threat and once wrinkles start to form from dehydrating your face, you are on a slippery slope to permanent fine and deep lines. If you use a good moisture product, you can hold back fine lines by a decade! :D That is my intention (and experience) and things are going very smoothly so far. Thanks for asking :D
@LadyDawn1001 You can apply it to the eye area, but do so reasonable. Always try to stay at least a cm from the bottom of the actual eye and never put it on the lid or near the tear duct. I dont think it would minimize dark discoloration (if it is eye darkness from under the skin). But if you have hyperpigmentation or dark spots, it may very wel be able to help. :D
@mqs7524 Hooray!! Finding a new skin care line (and some other cosmetics) is such a fun feeling :D Sensitive skin loves la mer. Honestly, and I realize a lot of it is this "hype" everyone complains about, the products really do make the skin glow and erase the fine wrinkles as they choose to pop up. Thank you so much for telling me and I expect you to keep me updated :D
@ollicehunter Haha...the refining facial can make a mess, but it is a good exfoliator....a bit drying :D I am glad that you have had success...in my opinion, la mer makes my skin feel better (in the long term) better than any other product line. Revive can bring along better immediate effects, but they are hard to maintain. Same with perricone. Thanks so much for watching :D
I agree with u on everything except the tube idea...it's too expensive to be in a tube form there would probably be left over product that can't be squeeze out, i would probably have to cut open the tube and use every drop of it since it cost an arm and a leg hehehehe but ur right it's much more cleaner =) ps i am gonna try using the creme on top of the eye cream and see if it's more moisturizing thanks
@pepperly209 Hehe...you are right, but I am sure there is a schematic that would work out where you could get all the product. I think their moisturizing lotion comes in a pump. Haha, i would definitely cut it open as well. I just dont want to compromise the integrity of the product by using these jars. Please tell me how everything goes with the addition of the creme. Definitely try to get a sample of this new eye balm (I saw the samples in nordstrom the other day). Thanks so much!!
LOl interview, u are so funny, and u look so happy to use La mer that makes me wanna try their products! If it does last 8 months, it´s worth it! I love how honest your reviews are and that you actually wear the products for months before giving a review. I see many videos here on yt, people use the product for a week and then make a video saying that it doesnt work!!! Great, excellent review!
@dehmorais Haha...too bad I couldnt go back and change the word interview..haha. I am very happy whenever I see my la mer products because I know they make my skin feel so good (and the process is so relaxing). I try to use everything for months and months first (I totally agree with you about the other reviewers...not as helpful). I have been using the NARS lightening cream since May, which will be the next review :D Thanks so much for watching :D
@Sk8erBoiZach Yes. The eye cream is touted as more of a treatment, and the creme is for the moisture etc. (I dont necessarily agree with the two-step philosophy btw...haha). I know it sounds weird, but even the instructions say to do that..and I guess it makes sense. Thanks for watching. More skin care (and NARS reviews) to come :D
Hi Michael, great review. Might you consider doing an overall health video for skin, without the need for products, such as keeping your body hydrated, eating a good diet, etc? I would think that you would be able to offer some excellent insights on that because you seem quite interested in the more scientific and practical side of things. I mean, I used the eye concentrate for a short time, but now I simply use raw honey to wash my face and nothing else and my face has never looked better :)
@EruditePirate Sorry for not responding earlier. Thanks for the great idea...I will definitely cover that idea soon :D I love the idea. There are tips other than the standard ones too (hydration, good diet, etc.), which I would love to cover. I am actually doing a DIY video tomorrow where I use honey as a complexion treatment mask. Thanks so much for your feedback. I agree that many natural things are so powerful and healing :D
@aksaiyo In an ideal world, I would use this as a day eye cream, and the concentrate for a night eye cream. But if I had to pick one, I would go with this one because it is sufficient for me, the ingredients are really exceptional, and it will last longer than the eye concentrate. Thanks for asking :D -Michael
@TheSublimeAgent Thanks for getting back to me, you've literally changed my bank account ever since i started watching your videos, but i also believe I’ve never looked better because of you. So thanks alot or everything, and keep the video coming!!!
@SuperJKat Awesome suggestion. I saw your question on formspring too. Sorry for not responding sooner. I will definitely find some awesome options. Most likely, this will be covered in upcoming DIY videos...because it is more fun to make your own natural skin care products :D Thanks!
OMG you are a friggin' MIND reader! I was seriously going to ask you if you tried this product because I remember you have mentioned La Mer products before. Someone reccomended this product for me ( i have Racoon eyes it is so embarrassing :| ) but I gasped the price! NOW that i have seen this review the price doesnt bother me that much and i have recieved thorough information, so i dont need to research lol. Great review though,I LOVE that you are so honest about products!
@DivaLatinaANNI Hehe...I am definitely on top of a new release (it is like guys and sports...I am all about the skin care "game"). It's become a fun and rewarding hobby (for my skin at least). To be honest, I dont know if this product would be good for addressing eye darkness. It says that it is (of course), but I dont see that being the case. Overall, the price is high, but it will last for a long long time, and it is ideal for preventative purposes (and minor corrective purposes) -Michael
Hello Michael. I am still watching your videos. I just have not commented in a while. All I can say is commitment and dedication to you. People appreciate what you do.
@OLDS98 Thank you so much. As usual, your words have been very inspiring. I know what you mean...I watch so many videos and dont comment (bad habit), but I keep little ideas tucked away in my mind. I really appreciate dedication from others, so I was banking on the idea that doing what I liked would pay off with views. :D
I was reading about this today. Everytime I walk by this counter (think of you, as with Nars). Therefore your name is Michael La Mer. (Hee Hee) Awesome review. ....
@bosschickita Hehe. Hooray! For some reason, those two lines have really caught on with me. Really exceptional products. Thanks so much for watching :D It's much better to be associated with la mer than with other things (genocide, anchovies, sinking boats, etc.), so I'm happy :D
I KNEW you'd be on top of this! I totally forgot to mention this to you b/c I had a meeting about it a while ago and I've been excited about this particular formulation..fabulous!
@ThesPNation Hehe...I had people writing to tell me of its release weeks ago :D Another reason to love youtube! It is fun to be on top of the new la mer stuff...they only introduce a couple new items a year (or less) and it has become a rewarding hobby...for the skin at least. Im jealous of your meeting. I want to sneak in next time and do some spying for my notes.
I wish this product was more affordable. At $136.00 I simply cannot afford it on a teacher's salary. Is there a comparable product that is more affordable for the average person?
@javajunkie101 A lot of people were comparing it to the Kiehl's Abyssine eye cream on different blogs and online reviews. That one is only $33. I cant speak from experience yet, but I am going to order the Kiehl's one to test out as well. I totally understand what you are saying and I am committed to finding a great option at a better price-point. Thanks so much for watching -Michael
@TheSublimeAgent I thank you kindly for the information. There is a Kiehl's near me. Perhaps I can treat myself for my birthday with this product. $33.00 sounds much more reasonable. Cheers.
@javajunkie101 Absolutely. For eye creams, you really do only need the slightest amount, so a half ounce should last 4-6 months. The reason this one wasnt such an expense (in my mind's logical twist and turns) is that i believe it will last me a full year...which turns out to around $12 a month. I am a bit of a la mer fanatic, and I should probably stop..hehehe.
@TheSublimeAgent Naaaa. don't stop. If you can afford it--go for it. I have very expensive tastes, but not the funds for it. Until they pay teachers better or I win the lottery, I am stuck with being on a very strict budget.
hi there can u use the applicator with any eyecream?

DreamsiclesMeltAway 1 year ago
@DreamsiclesMeltAway I use the foaming cleanser (i have a review up on the cleanser :D ). From my personal experience, the creme de la mer will last me about 10 months to a year (2 oz.). That is with only using a very small amount...which is as much as you need to cover your whole face. If you apply it to your face and neck, it will last 7-8 months. In my mind, the price is justified by the length of time it lasts. Thanks so much for watching :D

Thank you so much for a very thorough review! Every time I watch your video I want to go and buy the product. I did not have an intention to try La Mer, because I never believed the hype, and I am very happy with my Caudalie skincare, but now I'm thinking I need to check it out!
apelsinka26 1 year ago
@apelsinka26 Thank you so much. It is definitely worth getting a couple samples (one of the creme and one eye cream sample). Just make sure to apply the creme correctly :D to be honest, a lot of it is hype, but the products work better than anything else I have tried, and I have torn through the best of the best on my mission for the best products. La Mer doesnt work for all people, but it certainly works miracles for many. Plus the products last forever (somewhat justifying the high cost). -M

Hi..u know i've heard that if certain creams like la mer's is packaged in jars....it affects its ingredients when air hits it!! is it true??
ShubhpreetC 1 year ago
@ShubhpreetC Yes. I actually talked about this at the end of the review. I hope they transition into a tube form. For this cream, I dont think oxygen will affect the ingredients that much. It is very air tight, clean, and the container is totally opaque. Still, I hope the lackaging changes :D Thanks so much for watching -Michael

Ive never really liked la mers eye creams, i do like the concentrate but i would never repurchase it like i do with the creme de la mer

jadeyfamous 1 year ago
@jadeyfamous I agree with you. The eye creams have always packed less of a punch than the creme. This one is only about a week old though, so it might be worth getting a sample to try out. It is significantly improved from the old eye balm :D Thanks so much for watching :D
TheSublimeAgent 1 year ago
@jadeyfamous Good point...the creme is definitely my favorite. However, this eye cream has been significantly improved. I cant wait to see their upcoming releases (although I dont know of any, but there is usually two new items each year). Thanks for sharing your feedback :D I appreciate it :D

frostyboinz 1 year ago
@frostyboinz I will definitely put that on my requests list. I have heard great things, I have just never really come across the brand here in L.A. However, I have been interested for over a year. Thanks for the idea :D
TheSublimeAgent 1 year ago
Love your videos, Michael, and your coverage of high-end products. Am interested in La Mer but just about every eye creme inflames my skin in the eye area. I wonder if any vendors of La Mer will credit returns in cases of allergy. Thanks for praising it for sensitive skin. However, what would really enhance this review would be an evaluation by a mature person who uses this product.
telket1 1 year ago
@telket1 You know...i actually dont know if they will accept returns. However, I know that nordstrom has a "dont ask" and super easy return policy, so I am sure this information would be on their website (as to whether or not you can return la mer). i would say yes, but I am not sure. This eye cream is perfect for sensitive skin. In fact, you could probably rub it on your actual eye and you wouldnt notice (serious, but also kidding...sorta). I wish I had a mature perspective too :/

here is my experience- i never looked my age- when i hit 50-and i thought i better start doing something and i found dior creams & other anti age stuff did more damage- i let my skin recover-here is my feeling on anti wrinkle creams- like diet pills- everything is a temporary fix- if diet pills really worked there would not be fat people if wrinkle creams really worked the makeup wemon who sell you this would not have lines!- i alwasy go back to DIET DIET DIET- and exserize- lots of love shelly
magicadespell56 1 year ago 2
@magicadespell56 You make a great point, and you are very right. Still, there are some ingredients that your skin must have and it is possible to delay the appearance of aging significantly. For instance, the one who wears SPF every day will look 20 years younger when they are 70. HA and retenoids are also essential for the preservation of skin structure and volume. Otherwise, a lot of the junk is gimmicks and hype. With a great diet, exercise, and some of the basics, you can look great 4ever :D

hey dear, nice to see you again.
I really love the old eye balm, but isnt avalable anymore, so now I dont know:(
toxic416 1 year ago
@toxic416 All I can say is that this is a major improvement over the older eye balm. The ingredients are stronger and much higher quality. The ingredients are somewhat similar to the eye concentrate (the concentrate has a bit more of the "broth" but the eye balm is a close contender without a doubt). For the prevention of wrinkles, the eye balm is the best option. The eye concentrate is more of treatment for existing wrinkles, although it is certainly preventative too :D Thakns so much!

Nice Review! I was wondering if you would consider including in the description box on your videos a list of products you are wearing? xoxo Deb
MrsTheDoll 1 year ago
@MrsTheDoll Thakns for asking Deb. Believe it or not, I actually ran out of room in the description box and I couldnt even fit in the last two paragraphs of my written review...hehe. I will have to start a blog page for these written reviews. Actually in this video I just used the giorgio armani brow pencil and NYX milk as an under brow highlight. Other than that, I am not wearing anything. :D
TheSublimeAgent 1 year ago
The balm looks amazing! What is the difference between fine lines and dehydration lines and how do you check which ones you have? Thanks :D
playingwithdarkness 1 year ago
@playingwithdarkness Basically, all wrinkles have to do with three very basic factors (moisture, genetics, and natural loss of the connective proteins etc.). Dryness is the one constant threat and once wrinkles start to form from dehydrating your face, you are on a slippery slope to permanent fine and deep lines. If you use a good moisture product, you can hold back fine lines by a decade! :D That is my intention (and experience) and things are going very smoothly so far. Thanks for asking :D
TheSublimeAgent 1 year ago
This is in reference to Retin a cream, Do u think it should be applied to the eye area to help minimize dark discoloration?
LadyDawn1001 1 year ago
@LadyDawn1001 You can apply it to the eye area, but do so reasonable. Always try to stay at least a cm from the bottom of the actual eye and never put it on the lid or near the tear duct. I dont think it would minimize dark discoloration (if it is eye darkness from under the skin). But if you have hyperpigmentation or dark spots, it may very wel be able to help. :D

mqs7524 1 year ago
@mqs7524 Hooray!! Finding a new skin care line (and some other cosmetics) is such a fun feeling :D Sensitive skin loves la mer. Honestly, and I realize a lot of it is this "hype" everyone complains about, the products really do make the skin glow and erase the fine wrinkles as they choose to pop up. Thank you so much for telling me and I expect you to keep me updated :D

Excellent review. I always have great success with La Mer products...unless it's the Refining Facial... : (
ollicehunter 1 year ago
@ollicehunter Haha...the refining facial can make a mess, but it is a good exfoliator....a bit drying :D I am glad that you have had success...in my opinion, la mer makes my skin feel better (in the long term) better than any other product line. Revive can bring along better immediate effects, but they are hard to maintain. Same with perricone. Thanks so much for watching :D

I agree with u on everything except the tube idea...it's too expensive to be in a tube form there would probably be left over product that can't be squeeze out, i would probably have to cut open the tube and use every drop of it since it cost an arm and a leg hehehehe but ur right it's much more cleaner =) ps i am gonna try using the creme on top of the eye cream and see if it's more moisturizing thanks
pepperly209 1 year ago

Great, excellent review!
dehmorais 1 year ago
@dehmorais Haha...too bad I couldnt go back and change the word interview..haha. I am very happy whenever I see my la mer products because I know they make my skin feel so good (and the process is so relaxing). I try to use everything for months and months first (I totally agree with you about the other reviewers...not as helpful). I have been using the NARS lightening cream since May, which will be the next review :D Thanks so much for watching :D
TheSublimeAgent 1 year ago
waitttttt, u put the creme on top of the eye cream?
Sk8erBoiZach 1 year ago
@Sk8erBoiZach Yes. The eye cream is touted as more of a treatment, and the creme is for the moisture etc. (I dont necessarily agree with the two-step philosophy btw...haha). I know it sounds weird, but even the instructions say to do that..and I guess it makes sense. Thanks for watching. More skin care (and NARS reviews) to come :D
TheSublimeAgent 1 year ago
Hi Michael, great review. Might you consider doing an overall health video for skin, without the need for products, such as keeping your body hydrated, eating a good diet, etc? I would think that you would be able to offer some excellent insights on that because you seem quite interested in the more scientific and practical side of things. I mean, I used the eye concentrate for a short time, but now I simply use raw honey to wash my face and nothing else and my face has never looked better :)
EruditePirate 1 year ago
@EruditePirate Sorry for not responding earlier. Thanks for the great idea...I will definitely cover that idea soon :D I love the idea. There are tips other than the standard ones too (hydration, good diet, etc.), which I would love to cover. I am actually doing a DIY video tomorrow where I use honey as a complexion treatment mask. Thanks so much for your feedback. I agree that many natural things are so powerful and healing :D
TheSublimeAgent 1 year ago
so which would YOU use more? The eye concentrate or the eye balm intense?
aksaiyo 1 year ago
@aksaiyo In an ideal world, I would use this as a day eye cream, and the concentrate for a night eye cream. But if I had to pick one, I would go with this one because it is sufficient for me, the ingredients are really exceptional, and it will last longer than the eye concentrate. Thanks for asking :D -Michael

DivaLatinaANNI 1 year ago
@DivaLatinaANNI Hehe...I am definitely on top of a new release (it is like guys and sports...I am all about the skin care "game"). It's become a fun and rewarding hobby (for my skin at least). To be honest, I dont know if this product would be good for addressing eye darkness. It says that it is (of course), but I dont see that being the case. Overall, the price is high, but it will last for a long long time, and it is ideal for preventative purposes (and minor corrective purposes) -Michael

I wish this product was more affordable. At $136.00 I simply cannot afford it on a teacher's salary. Is there a comparable product that is more affordable for the average person?
javajunkie101 1 year ago
@javajunkie101 A lot of people were comparing it to the Kiehl's Abyssine eye cream on different blogs and online reviews. That one is only $33. I cant speak from experience yet, but I am going to order the Kiehl's one to test out as well. I totally understand what you are saying and I am committed to finding a great option at a better price-point. Thanks so much for watching -Michael
TheSublimeAgent 1 year ago
@TheSublimeAgent I thank you kindly for the information. There is a Kiehl's near me. Perhaps I can treat myself for my birthday with this product. $33.00 sounds much more reasonable. Cheers.
javajunkie101 1 year ago
@javajunkie101 Absolutely. For eye creams, you really do only need the slightest amount, so a half ounce should last 4-6 months. The reason this one wasnt such an expense (in my mind's logical twist and turns) is that i believe it will last me a full year...which turns out to around $12 a month. I am a bit of a la mer fanatic, and I should probably stop..hehehe.
TheSublimeAgent 1 year ago
@TheSublimeAgent Naaaa. don't stop. If you can afford it--go for it. I have very expensive tastes, but not the funds for it. Until they pay teachers better or I win the lottery, I am stuck with being on a very strict budget.
