Does anyone remeber Dave Foster playin skins for Nirvana? (he got canned) In the early-mid 90's one of my bands played several shows with his band Suckerpunch. BTW Chad lives on Bainbridge Island and is in a band with an old teacher of mine. Paundy can be found on Myspace, FB, and Youtube as well.
Kurt was 1 week older than I was, Pisces-'67. Last tyme we spoke was backstage at Metallica in 92. (Black Album)..... Courtney had Francis w/a sitter and she was anxious to leave, she butted into our conversation and said "Are you done with your little friends? We need to leave" Kurt gave me that 'what ya gonna do? Crazy chick!' look. We nodded to each other and away they went.
@MyNegativeCreep I was buddys w/Kurt sorta. We partyed together a lot before they broke big. First tyme we met was at the place the above video was taped, he was 'roadie' for the Melvins. I have far too many stories for this fourm. Good tymes, good dude! I can tell that ya must be from Puget Sound...Gruntruck, AIC, Malfunkshun, Green River, Skin Yard....ya are pointed in a definate direction. Kurt would be 45 in a few weeks, just like me! Ya can find me on FB; Myk Jowett.I am very 'connected.'
@MyNegativeCreep yes the book is amazing :) I've read about 153 pages and its a bit of a coinsidence because last night was when i just read about this concert, i think they were playing before the melvins :) so yeah, the book is really worth buying.
I loved the video , really rare stuff :) its good because i read about it, then saw it.
@JackRuskin I have most all the books on Kurt. The most riveting is "Who Killed Kurt Cobain?"....The most fun is "Journals" (only book wrote by Kurt and NOBODY else) I like to read Tom Grant's stuff and his YouTube acct is a worthy watch.
@MyNegativeCreep There is a short blurb on the first page that says (I'm lookin at the book as I write) "Dont read my diary when I'm gone.....OK, I'm goin to work now, when you wake up this morning, please read my diary. Look through my things, and figure me out." Kurt was cool. He was nice, and he was funny! (I have stories!) He would enjoy that you would be interested!

This is a great example of how good Chad's drumming really is. At this show he is as tight as you could ask for.
Love Dave but Chad shines here too.
