  • Thanks so much for the help!...I now have a basic idea on how to do to create dvds in cs3 instead goofing around with other programs.

  • Is adobe encore compatible with Sony Vegas 8.0?

  • Do u got the serial numbers?

    Please, I need it.. o;

  • Why dont you buy it!

  • @annaacullen 1132-1127-8739-4724-1356-4304

  • I'm going back to paper and pen

  • THANK YOU

  • here's a question, what if your menu library is blank? Not even the preview window is showing. I click the buttions and nothing..

  • I have that very same issue as well, if someone could please provide us with a solution, it would be VERY appreciated :)

  • ya think it might have somethign to do with video cards? I know that some editing programs will automatically turn off their preview screens to prevent crashes on slow graphics cards. I wonder if this is something like that.

But that still doesn't explain the missing templates....

  • decent tutorial, but you didnt explain how to get the menu to pop up after the intro...

  • how to adobe premiere cs3 encore DVDuseing Encore cs3

  • neat

  • Nice curtains!

  • What if we did not use Adobe Premiere? How do we just go straight to Encore?

  • import as timeline...

  • @littleduck730 Just import the videos as a timeline, and add your own chapter marks manually using Encore.

  • yuck, you have a 1024x768 screen resolution. I used to have one of those, but now I have 1680x1050. 1024x768 is soooo squished!

  • How do you make a meau with motion?

  • Thank you so much for your explanation of Adobe Encore. It was very clear and concise. This is the first time that I could understand the process of authoring a DVD in Encore.

  • nice job, good explanation.

  • thanks for your help, very helpfull explained, I´m from Brazil my name is Julio Cesar, once again thank you!!!

  • sound BrickTop from Snatch

  • How can i make in Adobe Encore a .AVI or other movie file of my slideshow?

    Thanks in forward

  • Thanks for sharing :)

  • your voice resonates an aura of nobility. that makes this tutorial even better!

  • Encore CS4 is a part of Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 so now i ask some of you, can i make an Subtitles Selection menu in encore CS4???? And an animated DVD Menu????? And can i choose where i will insert the subtitles at the movie (i mean postition)??? too font type???? and can i make it like so its font and not is white on

  • Clear, evenly paced, succinct. Why cant all tutorials be like this?

  • Incredible tutorial, and amazing voice! Great job!

  • Thanks for the tutorial! Very helpful, I've been trying to make my Demo Reel and I had no clue how to even get started in this program.

  • 1:38. Because of the cock structure of mpeg2? Great tute though, very handy and well explained etc. Much appreciated.

  • Its my northern nasal accent! I actually say GOP structure. Thanks for your nice comments anyway

  • great tutorial! you just saved me from failing a university assignment.

  • Hi nice tutorial really clear and easy to understand! I'm using encore 1.5 but have a problem...I've changed the aspect ratio to 16:9 in the edit preferences but it won't let me import my 16:9 widescreen footage....says it can't be imported into this project....any insight would be gladly appreciated :)

  • Sorry but I Havnt used Encore 1.5. Are you rendering the files to the DVD mpeg2 format before you import them or trying to import DV files.Wide screen minidv is basically the same as standard (still 720 x 480) but uses non square pixels (wider to fill out the screen). Encore should be able to sort this out for you but dont understand why you cant import the file.

  • I am Trying to make a dvd of season 2 of the Sarah Connor Chronicles I downloaded all epiosdes up to this point but when I go to Import a episode to encore it says the file is currupted or it does not support it. is it because the file is in Xvid and avi format what format do I need to change it to for it to work.

  • Hi, Encore does not support Xvid or DivX files (even though they are contained in an AVI shell). You need to convert them to Windows AVI, or H.264 or MPEG-2 or Quicktime MOV or Windows media WMV. There are lots of conversion programs around that will help you do this.

  • really helpful + like this guys voice LOL

  • Are you using Premier CS3 3.2.0. Some of the trial versions had some of the options grayed out including Export to Encore. Are all of the DVD (m2v) codecs installed (they should be if you did a full install of Premier CS3).

You might need to do a full install of the unrestricted version of Premier Pro CS3.

  • i can set encore marks and stuff, but when i go to export, out of the three in the group, it will only let me export to EDL. any suggestions?

  • Hi I have a question.. When I preview my DVD menu my background video doesn't play but show it's first frame. Although when I didn't add text or buttons to the menu, it just plays the video. Do you know how what I should do to make it work?

By the way I have made my menu exactly the same way like your tutorial.

  • Have you rendered it. (ie select file , render, render motion menus). If you create animated menu buttons you also need to click the animate buttons field , which is in the motion tab of the menu properties panel (and again render the motion menus)

    HOpe this helps

    G

  • Yes it works, thank you. Very good tutorial

  • I just have a question. When I go to Encore Export in Premiere it is not highlighted. Why? Thanks in Advance

  • Have you selected the sequence you want to export (you need to click the timeline panel itself so that the yellow outline appears)to get the export options to open, just click one of the tracks in it to select it)

. Does it give you the other Export options (such as media encoder etc). Are you on the latest version of Premier (CS3 3.2.0)and the latest version of Encore CS3 3.0.1.008).

Other than that I must say I am dont know. Hope this helps. Good luck
