I have this deck in my nsx which iv just bought, but there is a annoying rattle coming from the deck..it sounds like a CD rattling inside but no CD...the brackets on the outside seem to be secure..possibly the mounting inside?...any suggestions?..

@joebuckjrr I would have no idea other than maybe something broke and causeing the rattle, something else in the car is causing it, or it's loose, just make sure it's 100% in there, but without actually hearing/seeing it, this is all I can give, sorry

Most advice I can give is double check all of the connections, and make sure you have the right cord

Yes, if a background matters to you go for the AVH-P4100DVD it's customizable. But keep in mind this dvd receiver is dated now. The 4100 has Customizable background/Motorized Open and Close/CD Text/Podcast Compatible/Shuffle All Compatible/iPod Adapter Ready (You have to buy the cord anyways)/Aux is now in the rear.

But you lose Source Level Adjuster and an intelligent dimmer.

AVH-P4000DVD Price (Usual) - $300.

AVH-P4100DVD Price (Usual) - $420.

Try entering the system menu when the stereo is turned off. then th initial menu. and i think there is an option to turn on the front aux input.

The 3100 looks more pleasing to the eye since you can edit the background picture on the 4000 you can't, and the 4000 is starting to get dated but it has a bigger screen (But only by .3 inches).

Or if you don't mind spending a little more get the 4100

No you don't have to worry about any of that unless you just go in and start cutting a bunch of wires.

My Advice - Get it professionally installed.

Me and my friend hooked up his iPod touch and we were able to listen to music and watch videos off of it. There should be a little "button" on the right side of the screen above the Circle control thingy ( Fancy Name for it Lol) that says "Video".

What do you mean getting the colors to auto change?

On the Side buttons you can set the mode to scan. But the background can only be 1 color at a time.

Have u experienced any problems with the CD-I200 ipod connector? i can control my 5th gen ipod and the song selected will play but it all freezes after 30 seconds and I loose all functionality of my ipod through the head unit.

its a GT but its got the Action Package so it comes with the full body kit and huge wing. and sadly as my first car my parents wouldnt let me get a manual so i ended up with an auto.

but i had an audi tt for a couple months that was stick and was sick.

Yeah I have an Auto GT to, but that's just because I have a disease where I've had over 200 broken bones, so theres no telling when I'm going to be able to use 1 or both legs at the same time.

on inside i got carbon fiber trim, alum flr mats, 7" touch screen but im lookin at the Pioneer right now. 1200 Pioneer amp w/ 2 12" Kenwoods. 4 pc multi color underdash led glow and i think thats it

future engine mods possibly, CAI, headers..etc

Nope you cant remove the face. Best bet is to store the car at night, and get an alarm system.

I've never had a problem with the touch screen and I've had this 6 months so far, and as long as you take care of it, it should last awhile unless there is a defect with it.

Its to archaic. It has no good features, such as wallpaper, screensaver and etc. That unit makes your radio experience dull and dense. Get a better model maybe something form the F-series.

Well just by looking at it through pictures it looks like it would fit but never actually seeing it doesnt help, but theres always insert kits that make it fit, thats what I got for this one to make it fit since the stereo slot was too wide.

Well, Ive never ever heard of that car, but what is the stereo slot? 1 din, 1.5 din, or 2 din, because I believe this will only fit in a 2 din stereo slot.

No, I bought it off ebay for $400 + Best Buy install with the dash kit, 2 people doing the job, a cable hook up to the trunk for when I put in a tv, and a Ipod hook up for $211.91. So it all it cost me $611.91 for everything.

I bought a P4000DVD and installed into my Honda Accord Coupe. I absolutely LOVE it. I even have a Pioneer 6-disc changer and Bluetooth Adapter attached. The BTB-200 registered my Blackberry to the P4000DVD, and it has even downloaded my phonebook into the system! To any of you guys (or girls) that have problems trying to download your phonebook to the BTB200 and the P4000DVD, and you get a msg stating "Unable to locate object push server"... contact me and I will tell you how to resolve it.
