I havnt had a good look at his before, but now that 12000 people have looked I have watched more closely, love the sound of the hail belting into the boom and the Diamond wires. Looks faster from the camera than it was onboard, my head still herts in one place , once the boyancy aid got on top of my head I was able to get the boat sorted out and saiing faster again. A few minutes later we were blown over by the 50kt wind that followed, water was way cloder after the hail.

People have been killed from getting caught in the open with no shelter during severe hailstorms - and these two certainly must've ended up with a lot of bruises.

Am I the only person that notices a minor boat-speed increase once the crew pulls his lycra up over his head? We should all consider this lycra-top-over-the-head-style to improve aerodynamics!
