  • The Absolute worst performance of the Night, Wat are you people listening to? Pages Guitar sounded like shit his fingers weren't even picking right. Page You used to be my hero! Then on walked Jeff Beck!!! and Blew your strings off!!! Do some more Heroin Jimmy!!!!!!!!!!!Beck Smoked Everyone on that stage even Clapton couldn't stand next to Jeff Beck!!! Jeff's Finest Show Ever!

  • @zabbott51 I've seen Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton live. They've got different styles and approaches. If i may say, Jeff's more staccato; brief flurries of phrasing. Eric seems fluent but i wonder if he's not really moved on. Jimmy, you have to remember, was a session man and those guys, even back in the Sixties, had to be top notch. I've never thought of him as sloppy on the 5 occasions i've seen him live.

  • @1hobknobs Regroup take listen to Arms concert. Set your pride to the side and watch Beck detroy both of them

  • @zabbott51 I was rather under the impression it was more about the music than "destroying" people? I also feel one reading your reply might find your grammar rather different to that accepted so might also question the value of your comments.

  • @zabbott51 Jimmy Page is amazing but when you bring Jeff Beck into the discussion you are at a different level - Beck is the only guitarist Jimi Hendrix sought out in England for advice about the guitar. "Clapton is God" ...he is not my god. Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck grew up in the same neighborhood in England...that must have been some fuckin neighborhood!!!!!!!

  • @johntg123 Jimmy Page was Amasing, his 1973 performance of "Since I been loving You" without the Overdubs is Timeless. Jeff Beck is just the Guitar players Guitar player. You can take Your Shredders, your guitar perfectionists and your Fingertappers put them all in one and Jeff will turn heads where ever He Goes at 68yrs of age,Jimmy and Eric, Will have a hard time keeping up with Jeff. Are we Done. Or would you like to watch Jeff and give me your Critic one more time. Opinions are like Assholes

  • @zabbott51 Mine will not Change. I'm a Beckster and I'm sticking with him. I think he's on his way back from the White House. He was asked, along with some other Blues greats to perform on behalf of the President.

  • @zabbott51 Either you did not read my comment or you have a comprehension problem. Opinions are like assholes indeed.

  • That was Killer!

  • This is EPIC!! Love how Jimmy changes Tele's in the middle of the song, so sloppy, pure awesome!

  • The person Who's To Blame is the guy who voted the one "dislike!"

  • Literally in every video I've ever seen of Paul Rodgers he sounds like he's running out of breath.

  • I can just see Bronson gettin' his revenge on!

  • Page is really high & happy and in his own world. Messed up the song towards the end. Even Paul felt it getting shredded. No worries, there is no other like Page!

  • My brother was there..when he came home he said the crowd was going nuts..remember this was his first American appearance since probably 77'

  • Nobody ever explored the upper reaches of rock guitar playing quite like Jimmy Page.

  • I have never seen Pagey like this. Just fantastic, on a form like this, He is the greatest guitarist there is.

  • I seen Zep 8 times in the 70's page was ripped in 75 and 77

  • Jimmy still getting high in 1983. and 84.. when did it end? My money is on 1987. I dig this tune.. Page is really really sloppy here, admit it. You know it's true.

  • @rokarolla Page apparently went cold turkey after the ARMS show in London (after taking shit from his friends because of it). So here Jimmy is not on heroin, just cocaine and Jack Daniels to make life easier :)

  • Both of those guitars have string benders in them but since they were designed for lightweight country picking then I am not surprised something went wrong thrashing the shit out of them like that.

  • Is that Simon Phillips on drums?

  • @HeavyOpera1 No, the drummer is Dave Mattacks. Best known for his work with Fairport Convention. He has toured and recorded with Chris Rea, Jethro Tull, George Harrison, Brian Eno and many more.

  • @ufodeniz No, that's Simon Phillips. The man with the interchangable right and left hands.

  • jimmy having a bit of trouble on that first strat!!

  • @myfordranger Tele :)

  • @johnnynastyboots oops tele.. thats what i meant.. i think page used the strat on in the evening,,,

  • jimmy page=HOT

  • Jimmy starts w/ the Botswana brown(w/ b-string bender) and finishes w a blonde Telecaster.

  • This is why Jimmy is the best in the business there are no guitarists any better. He is an absolute beast!

  • @johntg123 He writes the best songs! I keep searching Youtube for someone else to listen to but i kep coming back to Jimmy's music; ive realised it's because that's my favourite music! ( He's also a very good player; saw Page & Plant 4 times live and boy were they good; Jimmy's solo on " Babe i'm gonna leave you" is the best guitar solo i've ever heard live; i was spellbound and thought it doesn't get any better than this.

  • Thank you for posting.

  • Fucking Awesome!!! Best version of this song....Pages Guitar and effects sound extraordinary!!!! Thanks so much for posting this.

  • @Boski391 i was at a Dallas show during this tour. it was a great show!!! first time i had ever seen Jimmy, Beck, etc...
