with the new ripstik G you can grind on the wave you can't so the ripstick is now better than the wave at tricks. though it is as heavy or slightly heavier than a skateboard

I tested it myself. first of all ripstik has many choices like ripstik G, ripstik Air, Ripstik G pro, ripstik classic, and the limited ripstik classic custom design. anyways I have a ripstik G and ripstik classic, my friend got a waveboard. Here's what happened. we raced from one block to another. he won by 4 secs. the wave weighs at least 2 lbs. more than the ripstik. the ripstik was more flexible at turns. PWN

I dun really agree with ur comparism,.. If the waveboard is better at tricks, then how come all trick videos showing compicted tricks like the 360 spin, revert, nollie, ollie, kickflip are shown on a timberwolf castorboard or a ripstik? Does it show that waveboard rider even though they have an adventage, don't have the guts to do those tricks? Seeing most of the junior pro videos.. the waveboard are only used by those nub peeps that show you how to get on..

hmm... I can't say. I only have a wave board not ripstik because my country a little bit out-dated. I think it's better buy ripstick because I want acceleration not tricks. But hey! I think the ripsticks are good. I haven't tried a Wave board but the middle bar is bigger on the ripstick which allows grinds and half the tricks you can do on them.

I think ripstik G is the best out of the 3 ripsticks.

ripstiks are better because their wheels are a lot more durable and last much longer. their casters are also not as bendable as the waves. The new boards wave is making the 'hi-tide' sucks so much i had it for a week and it barely moves, so i suggest investing in a ripstik 100%

the wheels on the wavebrd flatten pretty easily, as in when you ride it excessivly the wheels 'disinigrates' (or whatever the right word is) cause of the friction. and the only reason it's 'lightweight' is because it's cheaper, less durable material.

ripstik's wheels last! and as the vid said, is way more stable. as well as FASTER

i say, who gives a shit about tricks. u'll get around much better with a ripstik

I've had the Wave (Now High Tide?) for a while now, since Christmas two years ago, actually. I learned how to do manuals and nose manuals on it, (yeah, I don't do many tricks)but I just got a Ripstik today, and it owns the Wave. It feels lighter, (not sure if it really is)easier to carry without that $30 bag, goes at least three times faster, and is twice as easy to trick on.

If you ask me, the Ripstik is the better caster to go for.
