yeah its not Dacus, all you do is use the c-stick to do your running attack then as soon as the attack touches your opponent, not as soon as you use the move, push up on the c-stick for an up smash. its fairly easy once you learn how to time it. basically if you are pretty close to them when you do the running attack then you can just do up c-stick right after. really quickly.

when you do a dash attack you can cancel it with up smash like snake, falco happens to be a lucky character.

That was a glide toss. You basically roll and then hit the c-stick to throw an item, and slide along with it.

Different characters go different distances, some can't do it at all. Falco can only glide toss if rolling forward, I believe.

The method of you are thinking uses up on the CONTROL stick with Z. For the gatling combo, though, I usually just hit A for the dash attack and c-stick up for the upsmash. I only use the Z method for a boost smash.

It's easiest to do on Yoshi's Island. Just run off the stage, hit C-stick down immediately, and spam Y so that you jump as soon as you can. You should be able to jump just before you die, and barely make it back to the stage with your jump and up+b.

Difficult question to answer. Obviously, I just pressed L at the right time. I guess the important thing is to be ready to tech at all times. If you get spiked, hit L even if it doesn't look like you are going to hit the wall, just in case.
