I agree with you! The Living Daylights is the best Bond movie. LoL! I just watched it last night. Timothy Dalton is very under rated as Bond. A great actor. I just wish he had played in a few more. The last few scenes were/are amazing.
Mine was You Only Live Twice BTW this not Sean Connery last movie as James Bond after the next one he return for Diamonds are Forever and later Never say never agaian
the living daylights as no 1?????????? NO WAY. from russia wth love or goldfinger or the spy who loved me ought to be 1st. daltons films were good, but not as good as connerys or moores.
The living daylights can't possibly be the best it has Dalton in it. and you only live twice was not Connery last outing you are forgetting diamonds are forever and never say never again.
I seriously can't agree with OHMSS even being on this list, let alone #4
The story was pretty mediocre, Lazenby was just an Australian model with no experience, the outfits were stupid, the wisecracks weren't funny, there are no memorable lines or actions scenes, and there was no way Lazenby could live up to Connery
it was pretty obvious you'd choose The Living Daylights. As soon as the "Necros Attacks" song played right after the "Hercules Takes Off" song which are both from that film, I could only assume you'd choose The Living Daylights as your favourite.
Thanks for giving the criminally under-appreciated Timothy Dalton some much-deserved credit. I notice that you didn't like Licence to Kill -- which is one of my top ten. De gustibus non disputandem est, I suppose. :-)
My favorite Bond film -- one of my ten favorite movies, for that matter -- is On Her Majesty's Secret Service, which tracks the novel with amazing fidelity. Lazenby was an uneven but overall very good Bond. Pity his manager foolishly talked him out of doing another film.
Intresting list you have there! Always love to see opinions of fellow James Bond fans. I am actually one of those people who prefer Licence to kill to The Living Daylights... In my opinion Licence to kill is HUGELY under appreciated. I've seen all 22 of them numerous times, but yet, and I would deffinatly put LTK in my top 5 :)...
I disagree with some of your picks, but your top two are the same as mine (though I rate FRWL as the best). You've also picked a great theme tune. Many Bond fans don't like Dalton, but he's a superb actor (great even as a toy hedgehog in Toy Story 3).
@expanding Yeah I prefer giving Dalton more credit then he gets. I mean all the Bonds have their positives and negatives, but I felt like Dalton was on of the better Bond actors...at least better then Moore
@LPscottyDawg07 moore is in my opinion the best bond i enjoyed al of his movies my favorite is live and let die. its funny how we are all bond fans but yet we have so much different opinions this is my bond list
my 5 favorite.
5. the spy who loved me
4. from russia with love
3. goldfinger
2. on her majestys secret service
1. octopussy

@MrGreenday34 Here is my opinion
1 Connery as he was first
2 Moore but I would choose him as first if he acted before Coonery
3 Brosnan(was my favourite because was first one i ever saw to portrait Bond)
Others don't matter.
