Proverbs 28:9 If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction, even their prayers are detestable. John 9:31 We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will.

The whole reason Jesus came to earth was so He could die in the place of everyone, because everyone sins and continues to do so. Every church that I have gone to has taught me that God loves every single person on this earth. I hate how most churches these days actually totally apply to this song. they aren't about representing and being close to Jesus. I'm very thankful that the church I go to isn't so caught up in tradition and instead is a place where I can truly just feel close to God

He says why he doesn't like church in an interview basically because they kicked him out for running his own charity-type thing where he brought homeless people into his house on saturday's and gave them dinner, but the church wouldn't allow this because it 'competed' against them.
