Death is a very sad thing and it's not easy for any one, I know when my parents pass on I'm going to cry my eyes out but they will never feel pain or sadness again and they will keep us safe from harm,god loves all and we need to all love each other.

I have lost loved ones in my life and naturally grieved but, nothing compares to having spouse of over 25 years pass away. It hurt beyond description. I played this at my dear wife's funeral. Those who knew my wife loved her because she was one of those people put on this earth who touched every life she came in contact with. When I played this there was not a dry eye to be found. Some day that last breath will come for me and that last heart beat and I will be with my love once again.
Sorry for your loss... but believe me, having lived that love was a gift that life gave him, something that made his life fuller and more beautiful, and even that there are those who lived. I could not conceive of such a thing. While there will always be a very special place in your heart for your husband, you will have some measure of healing. Today I heard this song for the first time and I heard it from my dad. For the first time in 11years my dad wasn't afraid to show his greif toward my mother who died when I was 6. My father passed away last March of this year 2011. He wasn't a perfect father but I know he tried all his best to be a good one. It makes me sad whenever I think of all the chances there were in letting him know how much I love him so much. Up to now it's still breaking my heart 'cuz I wasn't there beside him at that last minute of his life. I love u Papa... You'll always be in my heart...

I lost my dad 9 years ago on 10/25/02. I am an only child and a girl. Nothing was left unspoken between us and this is a comfort. What I can't accept is that he's not aware of the changes 9 years bring. The pain, the joy, the birth of his first great-grandbaby. I like to think he hand-picked the angel he sent to us. I love and miss you, Pop. My first forever love.

I have lost loved ones in my life and naturally grieved but, nothing compares to having spouse of over 25 years pass away. It hurt beyond description. I played this at my dear wife's funeral. Those who knew my wife loved her because she was one of those people put on this earth who touched every life she came in contact with. When I played this there was not a dry eye to be found. Some day that last breath will come for me and that last heart beat and I will be with my love once again.

From your description, it sounds like we were married to the same woman - truly beautiful and loving spirits, both inside and out. With loss of a husband & my mother recently this song has helped so much through the grieving process. I really believe my husband was around me for a long time after his death. Time can help but we will always miss them & to Kushjaa's statement below..I suspect he's a kid & needs to learn respect because to leave foul language here (where people are grieving) is abhorrent. Grow up.
