Does anyone know why Andrew kept trying to help Marty and why Marty depends on Andrew. If watch the fight she got into at the bar, she tells Jason to call Andrew and andrew was there with her at the hospital right away. Any idea why?

I can't remember the real reason, but I think Andrew was just being a nice guy and saw how much pain she was in, and he was trying to help her out and get her to change her life around. And Marty just became obsessed out of nowhere, and thought he should be hers. And this clip right here, proves how he doesn't understand the state of her "crush" on him. yet

They very nearly put the character of Marty past the redeemable, but they managed to make it recognizable that she was a very hurt, sad young woman. The "party girl" image was just a cover.

Andrew listen to Cassie, I totally forgot how Marty used to be, causing problems then trying put on this innocence act infront of Andrew. LOL And I agree, how she was past redeemable. Until MM decided he wanted to do a rape story. And I'm surprised that Marty was only suppose to be on for a few weeks, with the Megan death lupus story, because they wanted to show that people can survive lupus, but they liked SH so much that they decided to keep her on, and give her a chance.
