MMMadsy Your an idiot, sure the solo is easy. But play it in tune and make it lyrical. Even professionals find this solo stressful to them. The fact that you say it's so easy shows that you don't know what your talking about
not great if im honest , that excerpt is grade 5 and easy :P Want a tip only harmonic the top A , if your thumb positions strong (which i assume you are using) you should be able to easily get a better tone without use of harmonics
So when playing the double bass in Mahler's you need 3 hands ...
and so do you in Paganini's caprices ?

That's an interesting way to play the solo. How did you get that to work with the plucking and such?
SchmoeTheJoe 2 years ago
you don't have 20 ducats either! I'm right handed and I play like I've learnt! and pitch octave higher is not correct so I can play you correctly!
Lutekbutek 2 years ago
Oh we can all play it correctly, but thats not the point of this video. And what does " so I can play you correctly!" mean.
njones18 2 years ago
hahaha. nice idea but you play bad - this solo is in piano and the notes are not octave higher how you play.
Lutekbutek 2 years ago
oh yeah, well I bet you 20 Ducats you cant play it this well!
njones18 2 years ago
do you really want to bet? I'm ready
Lutekbutek 2 years ago
do you really have 20 Ducats? And can you really play the bass backwards and make the pitches sound an octave higher than usual? Im ready.

Is that the cameraman's hand plucking the strings?
