man... check is not that steady, if you know what i mean. he makes some basic mistakes. casillas is not that amazing, if he lets 3-5 goals in against a crappy side then he isn't that great, i don't know much about buffon couse i don't really care. given is very steady and has great games quite often, and he rarely makes any mistakes, almost all of the goals he has let in while playing in city is becouse of the defence... it SUCKS!!! and to the end, sorry for my english...

I reckon the reasons are ..

1- buried him self with Newcastle ..a team that cant find the big four spots nor a domestic cup..with all due respect to the Newcastle fans..

2- No CL representations for him .. and that takes him out of the best player in europe list of the year..

3- that he is national team hasnt been in finals whether euro or world cup... only once 7 years ago..

the bottom line is he is underated goalie ..hope Mcity would help him 09-10
