I´m not at the university in some fancy "new media art class or music technology" wich i would love to be part of, but achieving this kind of work is not just some lines of nice coding. It´s a hell of coding right here.
When a smart and generous heart develope this kind of work for opensource or paid if you want to well, i´m turning to iPad. (Weather money for a lemur or wisdom for self development comes first)
Ok , what about iPad users, can you tell us if you have some "wi-fi drop off" And other issues? Just look at the complexity of the code for lemur. Until a few minutes ago my bet was on the iPad, but with lemur im buying the code too. I´ve been trying so hard to learn many languages to process sound like Processing, VVVV, some arduino stuff (if you wanna make your own touchscreen) MAXmsp, supercollider.
$3000,-? Are these guys fucking joking? This pad thiny for cubase is a big Joke for Cubase users. My Advice: Buy5 iPads with that money...and u can do way more!
If this was offered as an iPad app that would let me control DAWs such as DP (a must), Logic & Pro Tools on my Mac as well my virtual instruments and AU & VST plugins i'd be in heaven.
Must have 24/7 tech support & online forum response by company AND digital downloadable manual.

@buzbee1991 it;s the other way around. the lemur is a MIDI controller used for live play. daft punk, deadmau5, and a lot of other big names use it in their live setup. dexter is for use with a DAW and is also a MIDI controller but used for producing and in the studio.
Give me a real console any day. Something I can feel with my hands. See how the guy has to constantly move the volume faders. that should happen way smoother than that. The movements seem clumsy to me, an when you start running loads of stuff that increases latency I bet you anything this thing is incredibly frustrating. Its a toy for well off musicians who use it to control a synth plugin.
A few? years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said,"Take the kids and get out of the house. We'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand I H8 THIS STUF IT FREKZ ME OUT
good surface controller and Good amount spent on DSP chip and a nice interface shoulg get you on the way, this is just some trippy eye toy for daw's. i cant believ is as expensive as an Acces s Virus TI
i would completely agree with you on this one. I would much rather use the cash to buy a Kyma system, this is just useless. its just nice to look at. Personally, stick to a pro control. They are fast and not going anywhere. When will they learn its no longer about control. its about real time DSP like kyma... 1 bit refresh rate. Thats just yummy.
you have obviously never played with one, they are good for sure. go and have a play before making ridiculous outdated comments. this is a live tool, comapring to the Duende is just ridiculous you fucking useless clits
its pretty, but honestly whats the point? I would much rather spend money on something practical like solid state logic Duende or something. But ya, its fuckin cool lookin and all that.
