I think the approach is way too straight-forward. A concept such as this needs a more visually stylish approach. This needed to be Tim Burton/Adult version of "Where the Wild Things Are", not Nightmare on Elm Street/Slasher flick. Watching it, I kept wondering what you wanted this film to be, scary or comedic. By the end, I felt nothing. I admire the will to do something different but I think the end result just doesn't work. Good luck with your future films!
Independent filmmaking at its finest. Excellent idea. Definetely see the waverly influence. Excellent cinematography, really beautiful. You don´t need me for cinematography.

Once again Patrick Willems make me ashamed to call myself a film maker, That was hands down one of the finest short films I have ever seen. 5 stars sir. Please keep them coming.

Unfortunate sound for the dialogue outside the school between Mary + her friend...I had trouble hearing it even with my speakers all the way up :(
