I think you're right-- if you look at him when he's on camera (as opposed to the radio), he's often red in the face and his movements are a bit wobbly in that unmistakeably drunken way. Yeah, you can hear it in his voice on the radio show too. However, something tells me that with or without alcohol, he would have reacted the same (or in a similar) way on that show.
