  • i hate u lol i want to go to japan so badly do they like Amiricans

  • They like anyone.. you just have to show a little respect and you will have a good time.

  • I beg to differ, but Japanese tend to show more deference to Westerners and Caucasians.

  • dude you are married? Isn't that nice ^^

  • Yea she's wicked cool

  • Sure thing I will try harder:)

  • Todd, there is nothing wrong with the way you are saying Yakitori... the ri is something between ri and li ....and I am sure any native speaker will tell you... no problem ... anata no hatsuon jouzu desu.

  • Thanks... yea basically it was meat and beer but the table charge included that little dish of cold gobo root... I had eaten some korean food for lunch so I was a little full at dinner.

  • I'm vegetarian and I still find this video mouth-watering, as usual! So that whole meal was just chicken and beer??

  • This looks so good, I envy the four of you right now wishing I could have been there with you.

  • Dude I had a ball... next time I will be more gun ho and make a night of it!!!

  • Well that looked good but I don't think it's for me. I somehow see myself as a regular at noolde shops and anything that is made on a griddle.

My cooking video will be put on hold until I get the ingridents I need. I have some nice recipes you would kill for! Some not Japanese some are.

  • Making me hungry!

    Delicious video!

  • Thanks... I was amazed at how they rehashed such a common dish.

  • Trying new izakaya dishes is fun.

But most of them are not difficult to make at home.

  • fo sho yakitori!

  • Yea bro..... I could eat tsukune till I burst

  • Wow that looked delicious. If you don't mind my asking what did your dinner end up costing per person? Next time I'm in Japan I think I'm going to have to try out that restaurant.

  • It was about 2500 yen per person. We did eat a lot and washed it down with a few cold ones each.

  • Yea and I have to say I would not have found that place without Iloveyakitori.... funny how there are many places right under your nose and you never see them until someone points it out

  • Looks tasty! Those little specialty restaurants in Shinjuku and Kabukicho are awesome. I just got back from a trip to Japan in January and I'm already jonesing to go back. Is Tokyo da bom or what?

  • Yea! There are enough places in Tokyo alone to spend a life time visiting... I want to be here forever.

  • Why can't the invent taste-o-vision?!

  • Ahhh they will but maybe it will be really expensive.... the jack in the back of the head that is...

  • =)... I'll be staying in Shinjuku when I finally get there in september. I would love to check out some places like this! When I get there, I don't think i'll want to come back to Australia. hahaha..

  • Look me up when you are here!!

  • Shure will!! Let you know the details closer to the date. =) BEERS! lol.
