This performance is Artistic. There's one thing to go on stage and do what everybody else is doing but Wondertwins chose something totally different. What some don't see is that to "pop" as hard as they are obviously doing for 6 minutes is extremely difficult. I love this Showcase,dope show Wondertwins...and i can appreciate other styles of dance unlike some of these others who want to compare what you guys been doing for years. I can tell by one glance that The WonderTwins are Professional.
In my opinion they're good, but LT are better. I know I shouldn't compare them because these are two completely different styles of dancing but this performance is kinda boring.. and they aren't as synchronised as LT

As i previously stated,Wondertwins are the truth. What Is missing in dance i see very clearly when i watch WT's. i see a full spectrum of performance that.'s not solely focus on mainstream dancing that is being watered down due to several shows related to what they see as hip hop dance. there's a structure in the Wondertwins. someone stated that even without the music they are dope. i watched and 100 percent agree. Wt's are nasty.
Popping is a Dance Martial Art (takes years to develop the correct foundation)......... New Style/Hip Hop is a hybrid dance based on the hip hop foundations previously laid down by the OG pioneers of generations past. Not taking away from Les Twins, they are masters of their craft, but they themselves know that the Wonder Twins are on a GRAND MASTER elite level.... Les TWINs are on the PATH, I cannot wait to see what another Ten years does to their mastery of what they do. Respect the OG's.....

You can always tell when someone has experience on stage and how to properly do it. This routine shows a whole arsenal of talent. The presentation from the attire to the song choice and direction is completely professional. I think we as viewers are getting brainwashed by thinking the tv dance shows are true forms of dance and we are completely wrong. Dance is art and can tell a story. Wondertwins can fit any era of dance and still standout because this is art,not just dope poppin & hip'hop.

@20willjohn I'm not a hater of the WTs. I just wasn't impressed w/what I saw in this vid. I'm not a dancer; I'm a viewer. One doesn't have to be a dancer to appreciate, or to know, good dancing when one sees it. If one has to be a dancer to know good dancing, then no dancer would ever make a living, for the ratio of ticket buyers to dancers/performers always has to be greater. All of the "mad" skills that you pointed out don't change my mind--they just ain't my cup of tea.
Meh! The choreography is dull. Too many long pauses between segments. Not enough dancing. Even stepping onto the stage, coming out of the box, so to speak, they don't do anything worth watching. Making the audience wait too long before they do anything, and then when they do, it ain't much, it's not exciting. Too much "blank space." They don't fill the stage. Perhaps, this is a case of some old dogs (in the dance world, that is) who haven't learned any new tricks.

Bro Les Twins will kill these dudes any day. At no point in the video do they do any movement that would be as fast as les twins would move. if you notice they dont continually dance they're always pausing for a break in the song instead of just following the routine, Those scarves were unneccesary just another reason to break. Les twins have killed every oppenent they have battled thus far. They just have more finesse.

Everyone was like oh shit and it didn't look real in the battlemode,Les Twins were doing L'Twins stuff and going crazy over eachothers moves but WonderTwins just stood without screaming over eachother and simply Banged to strongly for them. @Below dude KeVinn..Jabbawockeez with all due respect has 8 members doing the same exact movement and even though the WONDERTWINS are a duo and they are legit twins,their movement still comes across differently.Their faces are shown and they are so much into the groove of the beat that personally it's not fair to them to mention Jabbawockees who perform robot moves but not even close to the Wondertwins. I first saw the wondertwins performing in1989 at Wembley stadium in the UK which at the time held around 40,000 people, that show was sick and over 20 years later these guy can still get down, nuff respect to Les Twins but lets keep it real ...they cannot be compared to the wonder twins !! my personal opinion is they're too static and compared to the likes of les twins who capture the crowd by their movement and animated dance, they just look like ok (not great) dancers.
@hotcrossbun06 Bro, as a dancer and chorographer for over twnety yrs. I would recommend you see the Wonder twins in the flesh. Un duplicatable. i respect the les twins. Their very entertaining, and animated. but they don't advance me, just cool to watch. I've boogied with varoius dancer of various urban styles with many big names and up and coming names and those who could care less to be heard of and I can actually say in person, the les twins are not as strong as wonder twins.

I fully understand your point, its just in this perticular video theyre dancing wasnt for a stage of that size. cause all the movements very maybe down scaled and would have suited a more intimate venue. and i fully respect your opinion and im not a dancer but just i like to watch dancing videos.

Most of the groups before them have TONS of people running about stage and it looks like a recital almost.To command such an power on a huge stage is hard but it's clear that they did that on a high level.I watched their intimate setting footage mad times (Wondertwins GOD at Alvin Ailey) and it's amazing how they reel you in,it's like art to me.

@305bigd Lmao, you must be an average spectator who has not seen a lot of the wonder twins burn and where they take what they do. They are far more refined, now more interested in portraying the art of the dance. They're skill set staggers well known dancers and non alike who understand what they're looking at. Much like a well skilled master mechanic who looks at a car and see's the burn compared to an average who sees Bright colored paint, stripes and rims and goes crazy.
tHere's another part of that battle in the hallway by Sharp Edge!! Watch how intense the Wondertwins pop in split second,it's like they just switch a button.I'm not gonna say they are better but they're madd raw. @mrizzie16 No they just battle and danced in the hallways and after Wonder'twins danced they walked into the audience and went to the hallway,so i went out to say what's up but They had crowd around them &Les Twins had a crowd as well,then it became one circle where the W'twins were at and people were pushing & shoving trying to see both twins get down! I saw them all talking towards the end and wanted to take a pic with them but they seemed to be in deep conversation.
@mrizzie16 i'm trying to get to the point to when i can call myself a dancer,i started late but hey that's what practice is for. For now, i'm a dancer in the making but won't jump on the stage until i'm ready. So i watch dancers like this to see how it's done. Technique and being "who you are as a performer" seems really important when i watch this and being confident without becoming unappreciative as well. Wondertwins even bow in a classy form lol Swagg'd out without being unclassy.

What's funny is the Wonder twins represent the foundation of pop, but then climax it to the fifth power, making it continuously hot in modern day, real to it's essence and are part of the original team doctors abroad who assisted in the birth of pop. The work and contributions these dudes put into the movement of urban/ street dance period spans beyond the birth of youtube, yahoo and Bing. Duplicating their own tracks to accompany the commercial tracks.

I won’t directly address the hating comments on here. Although trust me I’d love to. I won’t address them because that would just be stooping down to that level of STUPIDITY. The one thing I will say though is “boring” is a very BORING word, if you’re going to bother hating step up your vocabulary- be a little more creative.
The Wondertwins have earned an incredible history during their 30 years of dancing. Winning the Apollo Theatre 6 times. Touring with artists like Bobbi Brown and Apollonia. Performing with icons Queen Latifah, MC Hammer, MC Lyte, KRS One, Public Enemy, and more. Choreographing for New Kids on the Block.
But get this, after all their accomplishments, what do they consider to be the most memorable? A performance for children with AIDS- that is humility right there. This is what makes The Wondertwins one-of-a-kind, or lol TWO-of-a-kind. Their HUMILITY.
They may perform as robots, but the fact is they are so human. Their constant want and need to inspire others, and willingness to be inspired by others is truly beautiful.
The fact that such accomplished dancers want to be inspired by others and are open minded enough to do so is something that is overlooked by people who do not know Billy and Bobby. Performing for them is obviously not about feeding their egos, but about the audience and wanting to put on a great show for them- that’s selflessness.
This performance from WOD, like all other Wondertwins performances, shows brilliant thoughtfulness in their choice of music, movements, and their outfits. Thoughtfulness: “having the freedom to be you…because if you’re not yourself then WHO ARE YOU?”
Extremely skilled movements, huge stage presence. From “Evolution” at 0:50 the energy is unbelievable!!! They are vibrant performers, when you get to experience watching them you can feel the love they have for what they do, you can feel the hours, sweat, energy, frustrations, breakthroughs, and laughter it took to create that piece.
You can tell they create with great love and care. They dance so hard and with such intensity, it’s impossible for the audience not to feel it. Just look at 0:50, the audience’s reactions are proof . I’ve been witness to that. They can take the most complicated things and execute them with an effortless freedom… that is the EPITOME of The Wonderwins’ movements.
I had the pleasure of experiencing this performance live at WOD, had my breath taken away. I love watching people who LOVE what they do. This was amazing to watch, although this video does not do the performance justice- it’s nothing close to boring.
. In fact it’s beautiful. I have watched it over and over and still have the same reactions as the first time I saw it. So, Wondertwins, you certainly inspired me with this performance! I want to thank you so so much for that. Bravo! I will continue to watch your performances finding new inspirations from them no matter how many times I’ve seen them.

It's ashame that dudes this technically dope an inspiring has to go through people hating on them. I was lucky enough to see this performance from the front row and i never heard of the Wondertwins...it was constant buzz through entire piece and u won't believe how hard they hit,combined with vibrations and theater'like natural ability. It was true poppin,tickin robitics and animation..it look like someone had wind them up. Both the Les twins and Wondertwins should be applauded and not compared
What makes the Wondertwins great as poppers is there ability to have total control, and "HIT" from head to toe, while remaining always in the moment. A great deal of this performance is in subtle controlled hits. Subtle style is greatly important in popping because it shows a CALM poise. Frantic is greatly subtle as well with his style. When you watch this video you are getting a clinic of popping foundation (Ticks, Dime Stops, floats, Speed Variation, Stage Presence, Character, Story Telling)

As i previously stated,Wondertwins are the truth. What Is missing in dance i see very clearly when i watch WT's. i see a full spectrum of performance that.'s not solely focus on mainstream dancing that is being watered down due to several shows related to what they see as hip hop dance. there's a structure in the Wondertwins. someone stated that even without the music they are dope. i watched and 100 percent agree. Wt's are nasty.

Popping is a Dance Martial Art (takes years to develop the correct foundation)......... New Style/Hip Hop is a hybrid dance based on the hip hop foundations previously laid down by the OG pioneers of generations past. Not taking away from Les Twins, they are masters of their craft, but they themselves know that the Wonder Twins are on a GRAND MASTER elite level.... Les TWINs are on the PATH, I cannot wait to see what another Ten years does to their mastery of what they do. Respect the OG's.....

You can always tell when someone has experience on stage and how to properly do it. This routine shows a whole arsenal of talent. The presentation from the attire to the song choice and direction is completely professional. I think we as viewers are getting brainwashed by thinking the tv dance shows are true forms of dance and we are completely wrong. Dance is art and can tell a story. Wondertwins can fit any era of dance and still standout because this is art,not just dope poppin & hip'hop.

@20willjohn I'm not a hater of the WTs. I just wasn't impressed w/what I saw in this vid. I'm not a dancer; I'm a viewer. One doesn't have to be a dancer to appreciate, or to know, good dancing when one sees it. If one has to be a dancer to know good dancing, then no dancer would ever make a living, for the ratio of ticket buyers to dancers/performers always has to be greater. All of the "mad" skills that you pointed out don't change my mind--they just ain't my cup of tea.

Meh! The choreography is dull. Too many long pauses between segments. Not enough dancing. Even stepping onto the stage, coming out of the box, so to speak, they don't do anything worth watching. Making the audience wait too long before they do anything, and then when they do, it ain't much, it's not exciting. Too much "blank space." They don't fill the stage. Perhaps, this is a case of some old dogs (in the dance world, that is) who haven't learned any new tricks.

Bro Les Twins will kill these dudes any day. At no point in the video do they do any movement that would be as fast as les twins would move. if you notice they dont continually dance they're always pausing for a break in the song instead of just following the routine, Those scarves were unneccesary just another reason to break. Les twins have killed every oppenent they have battled thus far. They just have more finesse.

Everyone was like oh shit and it didn't look real in the battlemode,Les Twins were doing L'Twins stuff and going crazy over eachothers moves but WonderTwins just stood without screaming over eachother and simply Banged to strongly for them. Their very entertaining, and animated. but they don't advance me, just cool to watch. I've boogied with varoius dancer of various urban styles with many big names and up and coming names and those who could care less to be heard of and I can actually say in person, the les twins are not as strong as wonder twins.

Most of the groups before them have TONS of people running about stage and it looks like a recital almost.To command such an power on a huge stage is hard but it's clear that they did that on a high level.I watched their intimate setting footage mad times (Wondertwins GOD at Alvin Ailey) and it's amazing how they reel you in,it's like art to me.

They are far more refined, now more interested in portraying the art of the dance. They're skill set staggers well known dancers and non alike who understand what they're looking at. @mrizzie16 i'm trying to get to the point to when i can call myself a dancer,i started late but hey that's what practice is for. For now, i'm a dancer in the making but won't jump on the stage until i'm ready. So i watch dancers like this to see how it's done. Technique and being "who you are as a performer" seems really important when i watch this and being confident without becoming unappreciative as well. Wondertwins even bow in a classy form lol Swagg'd out without being unclassy.

What's funny is the Wonder twins represent the foundation of pop, but then climax it to the fifth power, making it continuously hot in modern day, real to it's essence and are part of the original team doctors abroad who assisted in the birth of pop. What makes the Wondertwins great as poppers is there ability to have total control, and "HIT" from head to toe, while remaining always in the moment. A great deal of this performance is in subtle controlled hits. Subtle style is greatly important in popping because it shows a CALM poise. Frantic is greatly subtle as well with his style. When you watch this video you are getting a clinic of popping foundation (Ticks, Dime Stops, floats, Speed Variation, Stage Presence, Character, Story Telling)
