I was thinking the same thing at first, but we're talking about Matusow here and he seemed to be hamming it up after the amateur told him it was the "highlight of his life" to beat him. Also, it appeared that the whole table including the dealer was taking it as funny.

If you don't wanna have etiquette you don't needa, it makes the game more wild and fun if you're being crazy.

I wrote "Mike was introduced to a DEA agent posing as a Chicago mob guy" mistakenly. Fenton was a Sgt in the Vegas PD. The DEA agent was the dealer's brother-in-law. Either way, just a small detail that needed correcting.

Because the dealer's phone was tapped, they heard him tell Matusow that Fenton was a cop, andknowing their cover was blown, they arrested Matusow and tried to get him to work with them on an unrelated case. They wanted to set up a mob connected club owner.

After Fenton couldn't get Mike to bite on laundering money, he befriended him and kept getting him to score drugs for him. Matusow eventually introduced Fenton to one of his dealer friends, who ironically had a brother-in-law that worked for the DEA. It was the DEA agent who told the dealer Fenton was a cop.

They thought Matusow would crack rather than face time.The agent who set him up was Mike Fento, who asked Mike to wear a wire to set up a Vegas club owner. He refused!

lmao He's been on the prescription medications for the past 10 years and hasnt had a drink in that time. Periodically though, they change his meds as his body becomes used to the medicine and he builds up a tolerance. Perhaps this was when he had started a new drug or a new combination.

He takes a pill called Dexadrine for his ADD which is essentially Pharmaceutical strength amphetimines. However, unlike it's effect on you and me, it has the opposite effect on someone with ADD. It allows him to calm down and focus. When he acts out, it's often because he forgot to take his meds.

He partied hard and also abused pain killers... He got busted a few years ago for cocaine possession for the purpose of trafficking and spent a few months in prison.

When poor people come into money, booze and drugs are often a short term problem, and when Scotty Nguwen gave him 333k for staking him, Mike partied. The whole drug charges were a joke. An undercover agent tried to get Matusow to launder money in a sting, and when Mike didn't bite, he noticed Mike was into drugs and partying and set him up with on a drug buy. He did 6 months-no biggy!
